In the middle of the night....

have any of you woken up in pain? I woke up last night or should I say early this am with horrible pain. I cannot pinpoint it but would say it felt like it was in the middle of my back. So I get up, and think this hurts. I drank half a bottle of protein shake and went back to bed. I really think it was hunger. How many has this happened to? Thanks ya'll!

I was getting that and sometimes still do but from what I have read on this forum it appears to be gas pain and the gas pain is alleviated when you walk around which I have noticed that the walking does help a lot. I guess if the protein shake helped then that is what is necessary - if that would help me I would probably do the same. I have been working hard to try not to eat at night.

i'm only 4 days out but i have also experienced this kind of pain. the only real pain that i've had so far is the gas. it's killing me! i get up and walk around, even though it hurts to get up, i feel that i have to and at least get the gas moving about. sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't.

K-butterfly,

Have you tried a heating pad? I slept with one the first week and a half. Put it on you upper shoulders or upper back if that is where the pain is. One day you will wake up and it will be gone :scared2: Trust me. (I am only 11 days out)
