  9. I'm a year post op. finally got serious about losing the rest of my weight - what I am so happy about is that my expensive but faithful friend is there to support me - the lap band. get a bikini and hang it on your closet - i'm using any trick possible to help me get to to my goal weight now after being lazy for approx 7 months out of the past year.
  10. 5 foot 3 inches, 135 when got pregnant, gained 35 pounds. some years ago when i got back to my high school weight at the age of 39 120 pounds, stomach was hanging, stretched skin from when i had my baby in 1991. If i really want to have a great 25 year old body, i'm now 47 i would have to have a tummy tuck. all other parts of the body at my 120 weight were stunning, but not the stomach.
  11. bmi of 31 is not low, maybe it seems low compared to 40 or 50, but 31 is not low

Thank you Elcee. I think I'm a bit perturbed at my brother's stupidity.

I personally think a man's face looks better without facial hair but maybe because it's not the style right now.

that's nice to hear, i wish i was one of those women who liked that. I always thought of goaties as a way to hide a fat chin.
  16. I deleted this post.
  17. It's too much for my brain as well. It's quite depressing and seems like reality tv.
  18. I just read what you suggested Denise, hits the nail right on the head.
  19. The meds do help. I ended up with a liquid one - I think it was Maylox that I sipped all the time because those pains are so unbearable. The painful left shoulder, the chest pain and no burp. It all goes away though and is quickly forgotten once it goes. Hang in there.
  20. I didn't think it wasn't allowed maybe just not recommended. Sometimes a person isn't hungry and a Protein shake sounds fine.
  21. I had my surgery last year. Take care.
  22. Hang in there, it really does help when you start to get proper restriction with your fills. Keep coming back to the boards here for support. What helps me when Im out eating is to ask for a take out box as soon as the meal arrives and I cut it in thirds, 1 third on plate, the other 2 thirds i put in the take out box to take home. Sometimes I split the meal with my sister and give her more than half.
  23. Yes, thank you I was able to view the spreadsheet.
  24. I also don't like being talked to like i'm a little kid who doesn't know better. It's patronizing.
  25. Hello, trying to get in on the spreadsheet I'm Lena (mousek screen name) i am down 3 pounds to 147
