One week post-op terrible pain near port

Near my port is absolutley killing me. It looks fine does not feel hot. Anyone experience this? This just started 2 days ago. I have called my dr who said to alt ice/heat. It is so bad it hurts to walk.

I dont know what to say but listen to your doctors advice. The fact that it is not red and there is no fever is good. Just a thought, I thought I was one of the lucky ones the first few days to not have any gas pains......it hit several days out. It may also be referred pain from the surgery, I have heard that can hit under the left rib cage. Where is your port? Hope you get past this soon.
