Why would he take saline out if your not losing any weight? That doesn't make sense. Congrats on losing 45 lbs. Be proud of that fact and talk to your doctor as to why he would do that. Best wishes!

Are you able to eat solid foods? Are you getting at least 65-70 grams of Protein in a day? How many calories are you eating a day? Are you exercising? It's hard to answer your question without knowing the answers to those questions.

If you're not able to keep foods or liquids down that would be the main reason I would think he would remove some of the Fluid from the band.

my band was too tight for over 2 years and not only did I not lose, I gained back all the weight I had lost plus two lbs... talk about frustrating. I was told that if you are too tight, you generally (or i did anyway) eat foods that are easy to swallow and perhaps not as 'healthy' as we need. because I wasn't eating 3 small healthy meals, I was hungry all the time and snacked WAY too much. track what you eat and talk with your doctor. it is extremely possible that you are too full.

Don't avoid the doctor... that was a mistake I made and it cost me 2 years that I could have been losing. Hang in there!

I have been there. I was to tight for the last six months and have only lost a couple of pounds down then up again. I keep going in thinking I needed more of a fill. Finally after not holding anything down and it ruining my vacation. I went back and they took out some of the fill. I no longer hurt or get stuck and can eat anything. I have hit that perfect spot and I am finally losing the weight. I am finally loving my band.
