I had a fill for half of CC last week, well I got to the point where I wouldnt even drink anything, it was so tight that I went in yesterday and had them remove that half of CC. Well i feel very little restriction after that removal, I feel less than I had before the fill. Has this ever happened to anyone?

The same thing happened to me, my first fill was 4 cc and everything was fine, then I continued to go every month for a fill and he would give me 1 or .5 cc after that. I am at 9cc with a 10cc band. So dont get scared every doctor works different.

I just wanted to get an idea of what is the average weight to loose per week?

I had a fill on tuesday, but I feel much less restriction, has this every happened to anybody? Should I call my doctor? I don't go in for one more month. Any advice?

I feel the same way, i got banded oct 1 and only los 45 lbs,, I had my 6 fill yesterday I am at 9cc and still dont feel much restriction, my doctor told me that i might be too tight but maybe just eating the wrong things, he said he might have to unfill a little, according to him its very normal for this to happen but I am getting discouraged.

I am not loosing any weight at all, i have lost 45, 17 pre-op and the rest post-op, I am very upset, I went to the doctor today and i am at 9cc but not loosing, my doctor told me that if i continue not to loose, he might have to take liquid out, I am a little confused and upset!

I got a fill yesterday, I am at 8cc and still have not hit my sweet spot yet, well yester i got a fill and I have been feeling like i want to vomit, I was uncomfortable all night and I am hot even hungry this morning, I hope this is normal! I am just a little frustrated because i do not see any results!

Has anybody changed doctors? I lost my insureance and I am not completely filled I am at 5cc and have to go in every two weekd for a fill wich I am not to happy about plus on topof that I have to pay 250.oo per fill when there is a doctor here in town that fills for $15 dollars, what would you guys do? I am happy with my doctor but i just cant afford it.

Hello everyone, I need some advice, Ilost my insurance and I was banded on 10-1-09, how ever my doctor charges 250.00 per fill, that is kind of high, there is a doctor here in town that charges 15.00 a fill, what do you guys recomend, I am bearly at 5cc and I go in every 2 wekks to get a fill, my doctor refuses to fill me up more, so I am kind of unhappy beacause I have not seen very good results. Any advice?

I am a little concerned because i have only lost 12 pounds in 3 weeks post op, i cant wait to get my firt fill, hopefully i will loose it a little faster. How much did you loose after first fill?

i am a little upset, i am 14 days post-op and lost 10 pounds in 1 weeks but have been nots lost any in 5 days, i dont know if its normal, or maybe i am doing something wrong!:thumbup:

i have lost 8 lbs in one week, so i just want to get an idea!

i have not tried meat yet, because i am only 6 days post-op but he recomended Adolph's Meat Tenderizer to dissolve foods that get stuck ( 1/8th teaspoon in 1 tablespoon of water) i dont know its true, but i hope it works

i am 6 days post op and feeling very week, i have no energy and feel so full all the time, maybe because i am constipated (SORRY) but maybe u guys have some advice!

congrats, i got my surgery oct 1st also, everything went well, its actually easier than i thaught. good luck with everything

well my doctor put me a liquid for 24 days and then soft food for 7 days after that. so good luck and hopefully we can share our ideas togeather

well my insurance covers 80% but i have a 4000 maximum out of pocket, i have paid for 2000 of that for my sleep study and ejg, so the say of surgery i still had 2000 remaining, but they only wanted me to pay 500 of that and bill me the rest. which was great for me.

i just wanted to tell everyone that i had my surgery today and it was a great experience, i cant say i dont have pain but it was better than i thaught. Dont give up anybody!

thank you for your advice, i had a long day today, i only had broth but it helped. my doctor is dr. Johnell in greeley .

so my doctor gave me a huge list of what to take along with me for surgery, i dont see why take everything if its a day surgery. what did you guys take as far as personal needs to the hospital?

wow i live in colorado too, who is your surgen? well as of tomorrow i will star my clear liquid diet, eating jellow all day, i know it can be done, i am trying to stay positive. thank you for advice

wow we have the same date, o am so nervous i have been stuck with my weight, my doctor told me i needed to loose 17 lbs but have only lost 11. good luck!

ok so i have like 13 days remaining for my surgery and 6lbs to go, and today i ate a big fat hamburger, i feel so bad, but i just felt like it is my last big meal! but i am scared not to loose the weight. I went to my pre-op class on monday and it seems like everybody has a hard time with the last 5 lbs.
