Is this normal?

I had a fill for half of CC last week, well I got to the point where I wouldnt even drink anything, it was so tight that I went in yesterday and had them remove that half of CC. Well i feel very little restriction after that removal, I feel less than I had before the fill. Has this ever happened to anyone?

Some people experience a very fine line with restriction. I have had some fills as low as 2/10's of a CC...

Brad

I am actually trying to work with a stubborn 1/2 cc myself for the past 2 months. If the 1/2 is there, I'm too tight, if it's removed, I have NO restriction, so yesterday, I got .3 added. I'll know by the weekend if it worked or not. Still on liquids. Just work with your doc and hopefully you'll get the right fill soon.

Hi,

Happened to me this week, after my last fill I kept vomiting, after only 4 mouth fulls of food I was in pain and felt very uncomfortable. Had half a mil removed on Wednesday. Now have hardly any restriction, I am totally confused and getting to a point where I dont understand any of this banding business. Wish I had had the bypass.

After my last fill, I felt like I had less restriction than before, I thought they had poked a hole in my band. Then 10 days later, BAM! perfection! And 3 months later I am still at the perfect spot. Give it a chance to work and don't get into the fill/unfill cycle. Try and wait at least 3 weeks before you try again.

BTW my last fill was .2 CC. So you do not have to have a big fill to make a big difference, if you end up needing another fill maybe you should suggest a smaller fill instead of .5.
