Thankful for the band

This week, a very dear friend of mine lost her husband to cancer, my daughter had her 5th birthday and we had a walkthrough at our home. I am 6 weeks post op, have had 1 fill and have some restriction:

I swear to you that if I didnt have this band I would have gained soooooo much weight this week. I found myself reaching for comfort foods: but I wasnt able to stuff myself the way that I used to. For example, had cheese fries with friends: we split a 1/2 order: pre band: I could eat a whole order by myself before and still have had a bowl of soup! At the funeral dinner, i couldnt eat half of the "comfort" food that I would have had before, I know that helped!

I still struggle with my food addiction, but I am so glad that it is minimized by my new best friend!
