YUP! Same thing with me. I put ice in my Protein shakes now. Not only does it make them super cold and more tolerable but the ice melts and I get some Water in!

You will be able to "eat" more and more each day. I just noticed yesterday that I finished a whole 6 oz yogurt in less than 15 minutes! That hasn't happened since before surgery!

I was banded 1/28 and am feeling all of that. My shoulder pain just went away today (day 10)I know I am niot getting the water in that I should be but it is hard to. I am glad to hear I'm not alone.

I'm 12 days out now. Gas pain is gone!!! Now my biggest problem is that my incisions are itching like crazy! uggg! But I guess if that's my worst problem, it's not too bad. My Dr. pulled a bait and switch on me... before the surgery he said one week of liquids then pureed foods the second week. Now he's changed his recommendation to TWO weeks of liquid. I could have killed him. I'm definitely starting to get my appetite back and am counting the days til I can start eating puree. BUT I am down 14 lbs since surgery (66 altogether) so at least I'm thankful for that. :)

I'm right there with you on the iching.... I am at the point I can no longer tolerate the shakes. I'm trying to get at least 2 per day down, but that's getting difficult.
