Late joiner here... I definitely want in! I'm a super slow loser, so I'm aiming lower - 10lbs by easter, which would put me at 255lbs.

Me too, me too!! I'm at 262, I failed the VD challenge...I shouldn't say fail, I didn't fail, I continued to lose, just slowly so I'm shooting for 10 pounds by Easter which will put me at 252, 2 pounds from the lowest I've been in 10 years (more like 13 years but close enough). Good luck everyone!

Hey All, hope you are all are going down : ) I have accepted that my goal for Easter may be slightly too much to ask for, but I am trying, lol. I am just so happy to be almost under 200!:(

I'd like to join the Easter Challenge as well. I didn't make my goal for the Valentine's Day challenge. My weight loss has pretty much stopped in the last month or two. I need to lose 12 lbs to get out of the 200's, so I'm hoping I can do it by Easter!

Surgery Date: Oct 26, 2009

Highest: 260

Pre Op: 236

Current: 211

Goal: 135

I'm also a freshly post-op'd gal, and would LOVE some motivation right now! My tummy growls constantly now. My mind is made up that I'm definitely losing the weight, but challenges make it even better for me! (I'm a tad bit competitive - even with myself - ha!)

I'm a bit reluctant to post a goal weight because I still don't know what's realistic for me to lose by then. I never would have thought I'd lose 30 lbs on the pre/post-op diets, but I did it.

The Ticker Facotory folks made me list a goal, so I put in 20 lbs that I want to lose. I don't want to discourage myself by setting a too-high goal for my first couple of months out of surgery. They told me to expect to gain a few, actually.

So I'm just going to join by saying I'll challenge myself to see just how much I CAN lose by Easter! And work my butt off to make sure that I defy the odds and NOT gain!! :(

Count me in the challenge! I am needing some motivation and this could be it!

My personal goal is 25lbs. If I lose... No, I take that back, WHEN I lose 25lbs, I'll officially be in ONEDERLAND!

So let me know what you guys are doing, and what you're successful with.

My main focus over the 6 weeks is going to be my snacking. I snack way too much after I get off work in the evening. I'm eating way too many calories in front of the T.V. I hope this challenge gets me off the couch, on the treadmill, and choosing healthier foods. I'll check back in on Monday!

Good luck everyone!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
