Felix Spiegel, MD

Can anybody give me some honest appraisals of Dr. Spiegel in Houston. I'm scheduled to be banded next month. I know Bobalooey had him and had one of his nipples "nicked" during surgery, but other than that he thought highly of Spiegel (Bobalooey, if you are reading this, please come out of hiding and respond). Any other opinions would be appreciated, I'm starting to load my shorts over the thought of having this procedure done and any words of reassurance would help right now.

Hi, I'm scheduled for surgery on nov. 16th so I will be able to tell you more after that. However I know he is experienced, and that is important to me. I hope we both will have a good experience with him. Jury is still out on the office staff. I have not dealt with them enough to make a good judgment. Be prepared to do all the leg work on getting yourself approved on the insurance issue and you won't be dissapointed. Weel good luck on your research.

Dr. Spiegel is an excellent doctor. The only person on his office staff that I have had to deal with directly is Lorena. She's extremely helpful & knowledgeable. Dr. Spiegel banded her, and I think a couple more of his staff.
