Just got banded and Im on Day 4 feeling sick

I've managed to get down a few ounces over the last 4 days but nothing more. Food(or should i say protein shakes and broth) isnt appealing and the smell of any food makes me want to get sick. When I breathe in every once in awhile I'm sore-is that normal?? So I've been in bed and on my pain meds for 4 days..I just want to cry!

Day 4 was the day I got out of bed and started walking. That act alone made me feel so much better. It helps with the gas, the pain and the bloating.

food, liquid or not, will be better in just a few days. But for now, walk, walk and walk... and drink lots of Water.

Good Luck...

TJ

I am four days post op also!!! and i have one spot on my left side where if i breath in deep or roll just right to get up.. it is KILLER pain.. like i can feel something moving.. or rubbing against my ribs i also still have some gas pains under my diaphram that i can feel all the way up to my collar bone.. I think it will go away eventually.. maybe not as soon as we would like BUT it will. I have been up and about since surgery (even got shopping done day after christmas). And that has helped a lot.. I would say to try keeping up with the walking and see if that helps.. i'll keep ya posted as to what i am doing too.. sounds like the same pain almost.. TAKE CARE!!! DECEMBER DELIGHTS!!!
