Take time to heal and it does take time. I needed almost two weeks it really knocked the spots out of me. I had a lot of help and support. This is a good place to get what you need. I am banded almost a year now. The time has gone by so fast. You will feel better in no time. I flew to Florida in my second week and was running around Disney World. What until you see how much energy you have. Best wishes imaluckydog

Hi, Enjoy your LB journey. I enjoyed my classes and I really learned something from them. I guess I went in with an open mind. You sorta need that if you have chosen LB. LOL I really never liked veggies at all. The WW veggie soup used to make me gag. After I was banded I had cravings for Healthy home made Broccoli soup. Go figure I never liked veggies and now I eat them everyday, my body wants them Ha ha ha. I am healthier and happier. Down 97 Lbs since June 29,2009. Best wishes strange how this LB works I am so happy with my band. Best wishes imaluckydog
  8. You are in my thoughts so sad to hear of your loss. You will make it thru with the help of LB and you know who. Best wishes imaluckydog

  11. What a great feeling and I can so relate. Best wishes. imaluckydog
  12. You are honest! Now let it go! The Brownie itself is not bad your friend was so was sweet to offer up her home made Goodness she could have kept them for herself. But it is what happens to us after the fact. You will feel better being honest with her that you had one and let her now how good it was. You do not have to share how it made you feel after. Sugar sets me off as well, well more like chocolate is my passion. I try and fit something like chocolate or a good ol brownie into my plan. Makes me feel normal. Look how well you have done on this journey of ours. Keep it up and glad you could enjoy one brownie and did not eat them all like I may have done. Have a great day and Best wishes imaluckydog

Keep up the excellent work. I love your positive attitude. This is so so important on this journey. Keep the head in a positive light. Helps keep the food in its place. I love your energy too. My one year is coming up on June 29th and I have not got to the big 100 goal yet either. If I do not make it it will not be the end of the world. As everyday is first day of the rest of my happy LB life. I am enjoying it to the max. Best wishes. imaluckydog

I am confused by this? I was banded June 29, 2009, and I have lost 97 pounds. I did not even try to lose. It just fell of while I was sleeping. I recently had to have two un fills because my band just became tight on its own. No one knows why. I do feel much better and I sure can eat a lot more. I have a little more head hunger but try not to eat too much. I am eating real food, not too much, and mostly plants with some protein first. I would try to switch up your food and eat less of it and maybe exercise more to get your body to lose if that is what you really want. Best wishes imaluckydog
  18. Best wishes take time to heal. You are doing great. Yes some days will be harder than others, just wear a smile as the scale is going in the best direction. Have a great day. imaluckydog
  19. OMG I have been there and done that!! LOL Yes this band has more control than I do. I can not eat anything too spicy any more I started getting acid reflux. I ended up having 2 un fills in less than three weeks. I am at a very sweet spot now and I am enjoying meals so much more. I also need to stick to a real schedule and not skip meals. Best wishes Imaluckydog
  20. Best wishes I love my band too. It has been a great journey. imaluckydog

Best wishes to you. I have had a SMILE on my face since last June 29 th the day I was banded. I am coming up to the one year mark and it has been a wonderful Happy weight loss journey. I have lost 97 pounds. I would like to lose 100 but my body has been holding on and I have been the same for almost four weeks. I am not complaining do not get me wrong. It is my own head that wants to lose more. I look great, feel great and I am as happy as I have ever been. I went from a size 24 plus over 250 pounds and I now wear a size 12 yippeee. I shop at all the stores and can find clothes that fit now. Tons of Luck to you and keep blogging it has always helped me keep my paws out of the cookie jar. imaluckydog
  22. Eat crackers, I have not had much luck with bread. I can eat the crusty part that is it. I do much better with crackers and they crunch when ya chew. I can only eat about 4. Best wishes imaluckydog

What a thrill. Congrats. I am so close only 3 pounds to go. So very proud of you and I love my band so much. Best wishes imaluckydog
  24. I have been banded 10 months now. I had two un fills in the past few weeks. I had been banded for 9 months and started having acid reflux at night. I just got off spicy foods and whatever I thought was giving me reflux. Well, it turns out my band got tighter on its own. Go figure? I had a small amount taken out and was nervous about that. I still had the acid reflux and it was getting worse no matter what I ate. Wake up coughing and spitting yuk! I had another barium swallow and sure enough I was still too tight. My Dr. got aggressive and took out a cc of fluid. I felt it release at once and have had a few good nights sleep now. I am all for getting some taken out you can always get more put back in. I hope you feel better soon. Best wishes imaluckydog
  25. Just keep blogging. You are safe here. It is all a journey. Best wishes imaluckydog
