Band to tight yet no fill in over a year !

i had banding overe 3 yrs ago did well lost 80 lbs and still lose I had adhesions stuck to my diaphragm which i had surgery for and then was fine but now i am soo tight can;t gety my weter and protien never mind food requirements called MD i have not had a fill in over 1 yr ! I can baterly even drink sips in the am and most of the day or i vomit and forget food ! I am going for Upper Gi friday ! has anyone had this problem ??:w00t:

I have been banded 10 months now. I had two un fills in the past few weeks. I had been banded for 9 months and started having acid reflux at night. I just got off spicy foods and whatever I thought was giving me reflux. Well, it turns out my band got tighter on its own. Go figure? I had a small amount taken out and was nervous about that. I still had the acid reflux and it was getting worse no matter what I ate. Wake up coughing and spitting yuk! I had another barium swallow and sure enough I was still too tight. My Dr. got aggressive and took out a cc of fluid. I felt it release at once and have had a few good nights sleep now. I am all for getting some taken out you can always get more put back in. I had my 1st fill and I could not eat or drink anything for 4 days. I could not even sip water either. He only put in 2.5 cc's, he removed .5 cc's. I was able to drink with no problems but when I went to eat I had alot of pain. It started near my chest and then I would get pain in my right shoulder. It has been over a week and for the most part I can eat now. I think I am going to be on a liquid diet for one week after I get my next fills. The good part about not being able to eat or drink for the 4 days was I lost 9 pounds. Good luck to you!
