I'll post again soon.

imaluckydog LAP-BAND Patients April 28, 201016 yr Author stats Take time to heal and it does take time. I needed almost two weeks it really knocked the spots out of me. I had a lot of help and support. This is a good place to get what you need. I am banded almost a year now. The time has gone by so fast. You will feel better in no time. I flew to Florida in my second week and was running around Disney World. What until you see how much energy you have. Best wishes imaluckydog

tracylynn LAP-BAND Patients April 29, 201016 yr Author stats Congratulations!! I had my band done about 10 weeks ago. It took my at least 2 weeks to feel somewhat normal. I was not expecting that as I had never had any kind of surgery before. I was sore. Give yourself time and try to walk when you can. My husband would hold me and we would walk around our neighborhood every day. That really seemed to help me. I feel great now. I walk, jog and do Jazzercise. It is amazing how you start to feel when the weight starts to come off.
janetsjourneytoslim LAP-BAND Patients April 29, 201016 yr Author stats I too took about two weeks to feel fully recovered and back to working without pain or some discomfort. Enjoy the help it won't last forever! LOL My husband has been very supportive. Today is 8 months and I am down about 81 lbs, so I have averaged 10 lbs per month! I am very pleased overall. You will be too, but just rest, get well, keep hydrated and worry about weight loss in the second month when you have a fill to help you. This is a life long journey and you have all your life to live it! God Bless!
luckyinlove LAP-BAND Patients April 29, 201016 yr Author stats Oh thank you all so much for your well wishes and words of wisdom. Without all your posts I wouldn't have made this life changing decision. Thanks to all you guys.
