  1. Congratulations!!! You are doing GREAT!!!
  2. Woo Hoo!!!!! Congrats on your milestone!!!!!!
  3. 2 months until my PS!!! It seemed so long ago when I booked it, but now it will be here soon! I'm increasing my iron intake in prep for surgery (esp for pre-surgery labwork). Will start doing pre-reqs next month (labs, mammogram, chest xrays, etc), so that will keep me busy! Fun stuff!!
  4. How about sugar free popsicles to soothe your mouth?
  5. Congratulations!!!!! You look wonderful, and your skin is glowing!!!
  6. Keeping fingers crossed that Covid doesn't shut down elective surgeries again!!
  7. I'm right behind you, on the 12th!!! It will be here before we know it!!!

  9. Congratulations!!!!! Enjoy every minute of your success!!!
  10. I know! LOL! I guess the bright side is maybe they never realized how big I used to be! Ha ha!!
  11. I didn't tell my kids only b/c I didn't want my extended family to know, and didn't trust that my kids wouldn't slip and tell. They have not only never suspected anything, but they haven't even noticed that I've lost weight! Kids!!! LOL!!!
  12. Great to hear! I'm getting the Exparel shot too!
  13. Glad to hear it!!! Keep up the great work!
  14. Agreed!! A lot of the gas you feel post op isn't inside your stomach (therefore stomach meds can't get to it), but is rather from them pumping you up with gas to do the surgery.
  15. Welcome to the board!!! You have made a great choice to have surgery, as it has been life changing for so many of us! Best of luck to you, and I look forward to following you on your journey!

Thanks! I got it off Amazon (brand is 90Degree) I also just ordered another Jacket from Athleta that was on clearance. It's a size XS (which is why it's on clearance!!) but I'm hoping I can squeeze into it. Will post pics when it gets here! I definitely have a shopping problem, but man it's been way too long since I enjoyed wearing clothes!!
  20. I think the important thing is to be honest with your surgeon, which you have been! I've heard tales of people having too fatty of a liver for surgery, and also tales of those who needed an extra incision so the surgeon could lift the liver. I don't know anyone first hand who this has happened to, so can't say how often it happens. It's like the urban legends they us when we are in pre-op! Best of luck to you!!!

Bought some new workout clothes. Too cute to sweat in! Lol!
  22. Sugar free popsicles!
  23. I shoot for 600 per day. Sometimes I might go up to 800 if I eat out, etc. I'm 10 months out, and have reached goal, but would like to drop a couple more lbs so still in weight loss phase.
