I think they look cute! All your outfits can't be your most flattering one. Some may not be the absolute best to show off your new figure, but they're still fun and playful. Go for it! (After hemming, of course ? )

Correction - forgot a couple of earlier surgeries - 22 total, I think! Uh-oh, hubby reminded me of another one - 26 and I'm not counting any more! I promise!

I counted - I think I have about 17! Looks like my belly got run over by studded snow tires!

Going out to lunch with a girlfriend ?
  5. No, not just bypass. I was that way with the sleeve, too. I have found that my coldness now is inconsistent. I'll be cold for a while (maybe even hours), then warm up and take off the sweater. An hour later I'm cold again. So maybe I'm transitioning out of perpetual refrigeration? (Definitely not menopause and too far into the process for it to be estrogen releases from all the excess fat.)

With all your travel, you can totally get away with this. Those of us who work with the same people every day would tend to notice these things ? That's not to say I care, but still . . .

Hope current bf doesn't read this or he'll be like "What about my tight abs, babe?"

You look amazing! No one would ever guess you were ever obese!
  9. I waited until my Anniversary - 5 months post-op.
  10. At my first post-wls mammogram, I realized that getting the mammies squished didn't hurt anymore!
  11. I'm chiming in - better late than never. I didn't phase into maintenance, I fell down a slope and landed hard on my now-skinny butt. Due to a variety of complications, I dropped down to 9 lbs. below goal. I'm finally on a prescription that keeps everything in check and hoving around 7-8 lbs. below my goal weight. I haven't been able to move the weight any higher than 144 or so, then it slides back down. I may have to wait until the end of my honeymoon period to see where I stabilize. I eat tons of fruit and veggies and basically graze all day. I know I shouldn't, but there you have it. I do make sure I hit my protein goal (75) and get close to a gallon of fluids daily. Here's my chart as I went from 272 to 144
  12. Thank you for the links, @Healthy_life2! It was really interesting to scroll through the pictures to find someone who looks like I do right now and see where plastics could take me!
  13. The gas that causes pain after surgery is not in your intestines (where Gas-X can get to it). It is the gas they use to inflate your abdomen during surgery to give them room to work. That gas gets trapped in your tissues and muscles and has to work it's way out of your body. It tends to rise which is why the pain can be so severe in your shoulders, upper back and neck. As to the original post, I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. I did not experience anything similar with my revision.

    You're looking amazing!
  15. Very low fat until you can increase it slowly. My hubby was very sensitive to spices, I was not.
  16. I used the restroom on another floor to avoid my coworkers ?

Headed out for an all-day accountant training seminar today. Try to contain your jealousy!?

Well, your inner feminine is working its way out! Very pretty!

    Great gams, girl!
  21. I found the link: https://sugarfreelondoner.com/keto-bagels/
  22. It will get better. Hang in there and feel free to vent as much as you need to. This is a safe place to do that. It is really tough in the beginning.
  23. Thanks, Fluffy. I got a BMI of 22, SBMI of 33/70. They are pretty consistent with each other.

    @Sheribear68 You look great!
  25. Go ahead and vent! Many of us have felt the same thing. Eventually, your tummy will relax enough that you can eat some of everything for dinner. You will probably end up getting picky - for instance, bread at the table no longer tempts me. I trade it happily for extra veggies (My personal fave, yours may be different.) I eat some meals with no protein so that I can "pig out" (now a VERY relative term) on fruit and veggies. Then I'll hit up a protein shake later. You'll find a path that works for you but we understand that, in the beginning, it is very frustrating. It would be so nice to "turn off your wls" for just an hour or two, once a month - know what I mean? Hang in there - you've got a good handle on it!
