  1. Me, too! I have gotten so much out of this site and the wonderful friends I've made!

    Off to Trader Joe's
  3. I am RnY (shrug)
  4. I had a bottle of wine with dinner tonight, in fact. OK, it was one of those little bottles that come in 4-packs, but whatever!
  5. Anyone else buy a whole bag of snacks to eat while you cook dinner?
  6. Interesting, I really don't feel it when I drink. We're all so different.

    More errands!
  8. How will they know if you buy and use another brand? When they want you to buy more, tell them you haven't gotten through the last batch yet. Buying and using another brand is better than not getting your protein at all, IMHO.

It's so cute when couples dress alike! ?
  10. Welcome, Selena! Best wishes for a smooth surgery and a speedy recovery. This is a very friendly and supportive site. Just jump right in on any threads that interest you!
  11. Welcome, Soyra! Glad your surgery is done and I hope you're experiencing a speedy recovery! This is a huge life change and you have every reason to be anxious. Most of us failed at weight loss so many times that the possibility of success seemed dubious, at best. That said, browse around the forums and get familiar with the search function. For example, you will find thousands of posts if you search for "stall" and probably nearly as many for "constipation" (Sorry, but reality bites ?). Just remember that we're all just anonymous internet strangers here and if you have any serious concerns they should be directed toward your doctor or his/her staff. Feel free to jump into threads that interest you and play along!

I love stripes almost as much as polka dots! Lookin' great!
  13. That is wonderful! Great milestone to hit so soon after surgery! Keep up the good work!
  14. Oh my!!!! That looks like the perfect meal to me. Clean, healthy & delicious!!! I so look forward to making these types of delicious meals when I’m at that stage Why wait?
  15. Just so long as "everyone" is around! I don't do any of the stuffed veggies because I just don't have enough tummy to do them justice. That is a big "mind-bender" from WW. On WW, they emphasize volume without too many calories in order to fill you up. After WLS, you're minimizing volume as well as calories, so a lot of the recipes have to be reduced - not just smaller portions, but the ratio of "fillers" vs. "non-fillers" has to change at least for quite a while until your pouch size relaxes. Even then, you shouldn't get back to the volume of food you could eat before. For instance, the recipe you linked - you would probably just eat a bit of the stuffing, no squash for maybe several months before you could add back in a little of the squash. That said, there are still lots of WW and skinnytaste recipes that I thoroughly enjoy.
  16. I would love that as well. I cook pretty much every night. When I was on WW I made some amazingly healthy & delicious meals. I used skinnytaste, Emily bites and a few others. There is a recipe section in the Food & Nutrition Forum. I have posted a few there but it's never been very active. We could change that, though!
  17. YUMMMMMOOOO! I still can't eat more than 2-3 oz of chicken, though!
  18. I would love that as well. I cook pretty much every night. When I was on WW I made some amazingly healthy & delicious meals. I used skinnytaste, Emily bites and a few others. I use skinnytaste now. Love those recipes and very bari-friendly!

Yeah, just one left! Fortunately, they don't do 2nd interviews. You either snagged it or you didn't!
  21. I wore mine for a couple of weeks. It really helped with those unexpected coughs and sneezes!
