  1. Well the only correlation I can see is the skin tone has relaxed so it's all floppy and blobby and maybe your bladder muscles have also lost tone. As the King in the "King and I" said " Is A Puzzlement".
  2. For many of us, Bariatric Surgeries and diets came about because we ate above our Feed Limit.?
  3. Excited for you from a distance but still excited, it's going to come together for you soon!
  4. He's anybody gotten a permanent? I had my hair cut short, thought that it would be easier to take care of, Maybe I'm just getting picky but it seems to be tufty, hard to control, tried to mousse it , just plastered it to my head and made it stiff. I just don't know, Tomkitten says I still look okay but maybe he's l etting love blind him.?
  5. Maybe I'll listen to one on Google Music Play? About the only place for me for access.
  6. So glad things are still doing good for you. I am still having difficulties at 9 months with my RNY, still have 25+ to make it to my personal goal, Nurse Practioner at my Bariatric Clinic stated she would be satisfied with. anything below 200, but I would still like more. Can I do it? Just not sure, Tuesday I was having a Rocky day, called them to check what I needed to do next, they did not believe I was physically ill, told me To book with a mental health professional. I was vomiting, when they called me back I was dry-heaving but that is the response I got. Very bewildering, not sure my next step? Do I Foget about them , book with a local gastroenterologist, see if he can help me? I do not believe I am going wacky-woo,I am doing better today, Maybe I had some sort of temporary bug? Their attitude wounded me greatly! I am not scheduled to see someone in the clinic office before August 14th, N.P. I normally see he's vacation coming up. Unless things change with me, I will have another endoscopy June to Early July, I do feel abandoned at this point, I did trust these people and doubtful if I do anymore. If I sound depressed or something to them, I am sorry , but this has been such a LONG siege and I doubt mental health is the final answer for me.
  7. AND AWAY YOU GO INTO FOREVER! Couldn't happen to someone who desrves it more, yours has been such a LONG JOURNEY but finally it is going to happen for YOU!❤
  8. And you're Sadder but Wiser now, this time you will have success!
  9. Welcome and hopefully you find a lot of answers on here. I know the motto about us all being different but a lot of people have gone through similar pitfalls and their advice has helped my greatly. And you are having your surgery on my son's birthday, this year he turns 40. Just proves I am Old As Dirt because I was 33 when he was born.
  10. As long as it dissolves the jerky and not you. Remember the kids song " I Knew an Old Lady who swallowed a Fly" Sounds a little like it. But I hope things work out. before you need to go the E.R., mine would give me no chance to explain, cha cha cha!

  12. Crystal Light, Mio, 15 cal Minute Maid lemonade, green decaf tea, decaf Constant Comment Tea and some herbal. Oh yeah, also propel liquid Strawberry Kiwi. But water unless chilled- Yucky Poo!
  13. You know where I am losing my hair the most? Oh the crown is a little thinner, but I have almost lost my bangs, I tried to make a part and push it to one side, not too good. I wake up in the morning with it standing on end, and then I go try smoothing it. Sometimes it works, most of time I just give up fighting it, I'm just gonna like I am going to look. Still a work in progress, don't you know!
  14. And it takes a while for things to settle down You will revert to brown ?poo soon!

  18. The following button should give you credit for filling. There are probably 244 responses to the whole topic. You should be able to see responses herr, if you are wanting to see them all, go to the heading on the left.
  19. Hey SusieQ, you're moving right along! Congratulations Girl!
  20. Well I was approved for surgery, went through, did reasonably well especially for my age. Then I found out in February that I have a thoracic aorta aneurysm that my cardiologist Dr Amrita Karve failed to mention. Don't know if weight loss will help that or not, can't help but think if my heart has less body to pump through it would be less likely to pop! Don't probably need to see her until after Christmas but we ARE going to have a little chat why I had to find out after an MRI instead of being told directly. I am more than slightly peeved, think it is understandable. Since childhood I am not enchanted with people who hide things from me!
  21. Love love love Slumgullion, now there is a Dish from baby-Frustr8hood! Mouth-watering now and few food- thoughts do that any more. Spent yesterday feeling super nausea- sick, called my clinic only to reach a nurse who told me to seek advice from a Bariatric social worker. I have not gone wacky-woo, I am physically ill and I only called you for medical help. Considering calling my PCP office, asking if I need a referral or if I can call the new gastroenterologist directly. No matter what that nurse says, I am NOT doing well, or at least I wasn't yesterday. Went and sat in the backyard in the fresh air, figured if I vomited back there I would not have carpeting to clean.
  22. Well well Mrs Gamgee, today is Surgery Eve, and I am so proud of you staying the course. I am excited as if you were my sister, and in one way, you really are, you have been with me through some of my briars and brambles along the way. Now comes your day to shine and I am sure you will. Prayers?, best wishes and a Hug from ME on this day÷
  23. Sounds like a perfect plan, I like the dissolving in hot water part, the thing I hated , besides the sheer time-waste grinding and grinding more, was the sheer pettiness of everything, especially my multi-bite. And I had do it twice a day, was SO happy I could back to my once-daily prenatal one. Just 1 and you're done, other people have opted for patches just to avoid Gritty City meds.
  24. More common than they admit. To me, plain water tastes bitter, and Heaven help you if you present me with liquids at room temperature, reminds me of being caught in a shower of #1, and that's not a Happy Place to me.
