Well I have all my stats to enter for May, May 81st I hope to be one of your 1st Responders, I feel I achieved growth in April, let's see what May brings!
Well maybe May 1st, not 81st, I know May isn't THAT long.???

I will jump in on this one. I need to stay motivated since my loss has really stalled.

Starting weight - 185.8 lbs.

Surgical Status - post-op

Personal Goals - complete the no junk food challenge May 1-10

- continue on my IF 16:8 weekday regime and complete (4) 36 hour fasts this month

- Be at or below 183 by May 7 (my 1 year follow-up with my surgeon)

- break into the 170s by May 31st (aim high or go home, amirite?)

Let's wait for May!

I would like to join. I'm roughly 18 months PO and was down 86 lbs before a 15 lb regain, these last 2 semesters of school have been rough. My goals for May are to lose 8 lbs of my regain (2 lbs per week), get active again and comfortably fit into a smaller size of scrubs (currently in a large and putting on mediums feels like Im going to be trapped forever lol!). That last one might be stretch but we'll see what happens ?

I would love to join this but I am due for surgery on the 6th for my bypass. I am right now on a liquid diet. So there is no food besides the soups, protein shakes, sf puddings, sf jello, and greek yogurt going in right now. I just want to get past my surgery and heal completely before the beach days with my sons. I want to be able to get in that ocean water as well

Every level and stage can join. You set your own goals and participate at your comfort level. Food and fitness path not necessary to join.

Motivation, inspiration & wellness is the name of this game. To remind us all that we are whole actualized people and not just a collection of excess lbs to lose ?

I'm joining!!!

Current Weight: 224 lbs BMI 37

Surgical Status: 13 months post op Gastric Sleeve

Personal Goals:

  1. Do at least 15 minutes of yoga on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.
  2. Focus on my protein, including lean protein sources and shakes.
  3. Find one good thing about each day that is NOT weight related in any way. (example: "Wow I saw so many pretty flowers on my walk" not "Wow I lost so much weight by walking!")

I am so in for May!

Current weight: 172

Surgical status: 10 months post-sleeve

Personal goals: Get to 165 this month! Find a new hobby. Increase daily walking to 15,000 steps.

I'm currently pre-op, although my surgery is on May 16th. I know I won't be doing much in the way of activity (certainly not push ups) in the last couple of weeks of the month, but my goals for May are:

  • lose another 5 lb before surgery (currently 245.6) by being very strict with my pre-op diet
  • hit 12000 steps every day before surgery, and to walk at least 10 minutes 3x per day after surgery (more hopefully)
  • finish prep for my family for post-op (finish spring cleaning and making freezer meals for them for the first 2 weeks)
  • keep a positive outlook during and after surgery, and to be kind to myself.

My goal for May. Lose 5 pounds which would put me at 144. I am simply a slow loser so I have to set realistic goals. Workout at the gym a minimum of 3 days a week however workout 5-6 days a week.

Keep my calories under 800. I don’t eat anything on that list specifically but I do have sugar free pudding, crackers and low carb tortillas on occasion. I’ll decide later if I’m going to cut those out for 10 days.

I have my 9 month follow up later this month and my recent bloodwork all came back great.
