  1. olgi- Im sorry about the set back. But I think your doing the right thing. Healing is important, at this stage I think more important than the scales. We can both really really focus on our weight loss soon
  2. I am staying on plan today because the weekend didn't go so well
  3. banded 2/27 and don't weigh myself often but when I went to the doctor on the 13th I had lost 19lbs.
  4. DAng. I do so good on the weekdays, but on the weekends it is so much harder. Especially because I haven't had a fill which I am ok with because I have my date and I am still progressively losing, but I eat so much more on the weekends, and I don't follow scheduled meals, I guess because I eat breakfast before work, lunch at a certain time, and dinner about 2 hours after I get off, but the weekends I don't have that structure. I can't believe I am saying this, but I can't wait until Monday.
  5. I am staying on plan today because to not is to digress and I need progress.
  6. That is awesome and YOU are awesome chocolate
  7. Also, what's with the short shirts??? I want something a little longer than my belly button. The shirts are too short and the pants are too long. Who are they using as models??? So, yeah...I'm a little peeved, too. Yes Yes Yes! I have to wear a suit to work and all the jacket are waaaay to short. I have short short legs, a longer torso, and a stick out belly. I need something with a little length.
  8. We just got an avenue. I went there for the first time yesterday and got a shirt for 13 dollars. I was so happy.
  9. Keep your head up. My Doctor said the first 6 weeks is really the hardest. So get passed the first six weeks and examine how you feel after you have lost a few lbs and can eat some "real" food. I think you will feel better. Are you an emotional eater? If you are your body and mind is probabley looking for a new way to deal with the stress you are under (from everyday life and from having surgery) and trying to find a new way to deal with it. We are here for you.
  10. Oh I love it San Antonio, TX it is lovely there. Congrats on the first game, did you win?
  11. I am two weeks and 2 days post-op and I have lost 19 lbs.
  12. I told all my friends, all my family, and one person at work and the next thing I know this lady who I have said nothing but Hello at work too comes up to me and tells me she heard I was having WLS which I have NO problem with, but then asked me who my Dr was and started telling me horror stories that her '"friend" in the "medical Field" told her about the surgery and esp. my surgeon. Thankfully, I had done a lot of research on the right Dr and hospital and the surgery so it didn't affect me too badly...still it was a horrible thing to do to someone who is having surgery in two days. Now she keeps asking me questions about the surgery. I think she was just jealous, being a larger women herself. When she was just done I lied and told her thanks for the info and I will really think about what she said. I haven't been working here long and wanted to avoid confrontation. Everyone else has been super supportive. At home, and at work. They ask me how I'm doing and stuff like that. My friends and family couldn't have been better.
  13. Happy Anniversary Happy Anniversary to you. Happy Anniversary May all your dreams come true HEY!
  14. I am staying on plan today because two weeks ago I was 19 lbs heavier and I would really like to say "Hey I have lost my first 20lbs" instead of my first 19. IT has a better ring to it.
  15. Thanks Cheri and juli. I wish I would have been here too, I have read a lot of this thread, not all of it of course, and you all seem so close. I am super excited to be here regardless of how many people check in or don't check in. Nice to meet you both. Im from Louisiana.
  16. Thursday walked very fast on the treadmeal for 20 mins, light weights for 10!
  17. My surgery was 2/27/08 and my fill isn't until 4/17, but I dont mind.
  18. I am losing. I have another doctors appt. April 17th, so If I haven't lost anymore weight by then well I will fill it and if not, why mess with something that is working. I guess the volume of food is not as important as the results peroid. If I can eat more and still lose weight I will continue until I need to change it. Thank you everyone for you help. The Doctors appt today was just to check my scars and talk about food.
