BUT, I'm not guaranteed a fill - I have to present my COMPLETED food journal for review and discussion. Anyone else have that requirement?

Not sure when mine is yet, around that time, I'd imagine. Supposed to be 4 weeks out. I'll be calling to make an appointment soonish so I can make plans, since I have to drive 3 hrs each way to get there.

My dr says he does the first fill under floro so that he can be aggressive with it. I'm excited.

Wow that's cool! I hope mine is aggressive but not so much that's I'm choking at every turn! I can deal with moderate restriction I think.

My first fill is 4/3/08

But I'm nervouse becuase my family and I are going on a vacation April 11 and wut if something goes wrong ..

and wut do u do the first week of the fill do u eat or are u on liquids ??

You will have a good week between your fill and your trip, you should be fine. I haven't heard of many complications after the first fill as you usually don't get too much restriction from the first one. At least not for very long. As with anything else, all doctor's are different but most have you on Clear Liquids for at least a day or two, then full liquids for a day or two after that, then slowly add regular food back into your diet. The trick will be to go slow and chew chew chew!
