  1. @@sbacoleman - why are you doing chewable? I break mine in half or crush them and swallow or spinkle onto a spoon of yogurt (or SF pudding). I just recently finished my generic chewable flintstones they were getting gross to chew in the morning. I went to a generic Centrum adults under 50 (I am 52 but was told to take them) and I break them in half.
  2. @@KnowUrWorth - you definitely don't need that bu//$h!t - walk away and do something for you, and if you need to - come here.
  3. @@cbruce125 - Happy belated Re-Birthday! sounds as though you are doing great - keep moving, and keep us posted
  4. @@Dream4tc - so you are using Bontril as well as having the bypass?
  5. @@Katy Walton - you answered your own question "I think I should stop worrying and discuss everything with me doctor" - that's exactly what you should do and remember whatever you decide to do its YOUR life, YOUR tool - so make the decision based on that. You have to do as told no one can use (work) your tool, only you! Keep us posted - I lose about 10-12 lbs a month I am fine with that as I am older and have a pretty physical job and eat a bit more calories than most at this point. If I ate less calories my weight loss at this point may have been a little higher
  6. @@gowalking - congrats on having a "sweetie" who understands your banded life
  7. @@megmom757 @@jayali - I totally agree about lack of sleep, they call it beauty sleep for a reason
  8. @jayali - are you hydrating? it can also make you feel tired. BP meds???? check those as well, I had to cut mine in half because after about 25 pounds my BP was dropping too low. What are you eating? getting enough Protein? calories? those can also play a role in felling week. the emotional part (crying) happens (sometimes) while your body adjusts to the weightloss. 43lbs is a lot in one month! get outside, walk a bit. it may help with the sleep as well. have you tried melatonin?
  9. @@Jessica Ellison-Correa - try dipping the fork in the dressing and then taking a bite of salad. Butter is a bit trickier u can try the I cannot believe its not butter spray, but I just as soon do without. I season my food with other things like chili powder, pepper, etc...
  10. @ - I am sorry if you I was directing the Old and clueless to @@alilove2631 and @@Babbs thought you were referring to being intimate. I am sorry but I cannot read in between in the lines and don't correlate "coffee" into anything other than...coffee. like Babbs said, my head hurts. that's where the I don't care part came from - I only want to possibly help We have had trolls on here and their posts have vague statements (metaphors) like the one you used in the subject line.
  11. 211 this morning thanks Stephh
  12. @@Katy Walton - what did the doctor recommend? I would listen to his recommendation. Do you have other medical issues? My surgeon approved me for whichever surgery I chose (lap-band or sleeve). I am very happy with my decision. I was told if I chose something he disagreed with that he wouldn't do the surgery. I think if I had expressed interest in RNY I could've gotten that as well. You may have to find another surgeon. Good luck. Just remember this is only a tool.
  13. @@losing_the_band - I hate to say it, but does she really need to know? you still have the band and you are probably still eating pretty rationally. Does she know it is being removed? If she only knows that (its being removed), not revised, then why share the extra info? I ended up telling everyone at work because they thought I was sick. I was hoping to not have to tell everyone but the cats out of the bag now. I do not tell them "numbers" just that I am losing "at my pace" and I am happy about my decision and feel great, which is the truth! no regrets!!!!
  14. @@vendinguy - I was told to watch my carb intake as well so I wouldn't drink that as much as I do plain water or my SF generic brand of Mio. I tried propel and got sick - I couldn't handle the taste of the plain water. It tasted like baking soda ;P
  15. @@Bluesea71 @@choosehope - I totally agree and bought the unjury brand. just wish I could get a bigger container.
  16. @@ad8 - There is a Protein type drink I believe they would call a "shot" that is available in Walmart that is condensed and in a semi-Gelatin type liquid. I think it has something like 20grams of protein. The only flavor I saw was fruit punch (?), I haven't had a lot of problems so far with finding a way to get my protein intake. Have you tried the
  17. @@alilove2631 I am old and clueless and I don't care! @@Babbs is this another troll?
  18. congrats you are on your way!
  19. @@scarlep have you asked him why he won't clear you?
  20. @@ladyfrann I think you are full. check with your NUT.
  21. I would eat a small amt to make sure you can handle it. I add chili powder to scrambled eggs to season. since I eat very little now in make sure it's tasty by adding spices.
  22. muscle milk is pretty good. kinda sweet. if you mix with milk it runs up the calories. I didn't like it in water. so I either used fat free milk or added water to thin out the milk.
  23. glad you decided not to delay too. do this for yourself
  24. IMHO, medication for appetite suppression just screws up the head even more. there are other flavors of protein and you could make your own, check into Unjury.
