Is spicy soup okay

I made a Campbell's condensed nacho cheese queso soup I added lemon juice and jalapeño juice was this okay?

I think if you tolerated it and it didn't hurt your stomach then it's ok. Not sure though. I'm only 6 days post op

Yea it went down ok. Just saw on here someone say no to spicy it could be because of heart burn idk I'm only 4 days post op first day with full liquids trying too keep it interesting since I have 11 more days

I would eat a small amt to make sure you can handle it. I add chili powder to scrambled eggs to season. since I eat very little now in make sure it's tasty by adding spices.

Thanks I loveeeee spicy food I can imagine not having it I personally feel like it adds a nice taste plus the heat lol

I tried cajun broth 8 days out from surgery and my stomach freaked out. I was a spicy food fanatic prior to surgery.

I don't think there's anything intrinsically wrong with spicy, as long as you don't go crazy with the Tabasco.

If you tolerated it, you're probably good. I put some hot sauce in some pureed bean soup and tolerated it just fine. Some people might not, especially if they've been having trouble with nausea.
