  1. I had an easy recovery too. blessed with doctor, nut and family for their support.
  2. @@yoyena dehydration will also make you tired and if you are on BP meds you may need to check it as well. after a loss of about 25 to 30 lbs my np was dropping to 100/60. I break it in half now. hope to be off the medicine soon.
  3. I am a not a computer geek so therefore I have no idea how to post a picture. I don't FB either. I text! I use a computer at work but beyond that....
  4. @@Daveo she's out there looking for you...get out and be open minded and like @@Elode said keep working on her Mr. Right.
  5. I get that it is a "rant" and that you are "physically and spiritually unavailable". I don't understand the "stop trying to make it like what I'm doing is the worst", unless its a general statement referring to people in your life that have said something to you. I don't believe this was directed to someone here, right?
  6. I probably don't like getting asked how much I weigh NOW. Its none of their darn business! I started about 3 weeks ago telling people at work because they thought I was sick or something. Cancer? Problems at home? DH works at same place and he has lost about 10lbs since March. I have gotten tired of people asking what the "number" is on the scale. I flat out got tired of it and now I smile and tell them feel free to ask any question about my journey but I won't tell you how much I weigh (smile). I will tell them that I am on track and let them wonder what the scale reads....jeez. About 95% of the people I work with have the courtesy to NOT ask. I unfortunately feel like the one who are asking for the "number" are the people that are potentially going to try to sabotage me. Most of us know who have lost weight over the years and regained it all back about those kind of "friends/family". They are either stick thin folks who are worried you may draw a second of their attention or they are possibly a bit over weight and don't want the "fattest girl/guy title" in the room title - that you know longer have haters....

  10. @@swimbikerun - a lot of people have a 99 year for surgery, I notice it a lot. must be a glitch?

  15. @@stephh - thanks sooo much for doing this
  16. @@khaled - I think I mentioned all of this earlier except for the PPI. I can only suggest you call your NUT.
  17. @@magicalwoman @@Peanutbutterlady - welcome!
  18. @@HopeandAgony - depending on your liver it could possibly mean no surgery. I didn't lose a lot but I did lose. Were you given a diet to follow? This is a tool you are hoping to get for WL and if you think that the pre-op is hard you will really think the clear or all liquid diet sucks. Gotta have your head in the game or you will really struggle and get frustrated.
  19. @@proudgrammy - Again thanks. Womens shelters have a special place in my heart as I have been a resident once with my two kids during Christmas 1993.
  20. @@proudgrammy - thank you
  21. @@MarceMonster - if you are honest with yourself, which it seems you are, then just remember what @@VSGAnn2014 said just because you can eat doesn't mean you should. I personally think that once in a while a small indulgence of an old favorite is okay. Key phrases "once in a while" & "small indulgence"
  22. @@Zweiz - tomorrow is your re-birthday, you can be crabby today ;D let us know when you can how you are doing tomorrow. Hydrate as late as possible.
  23. @@proudgrammy - if it makes you feel good then that's all I need to hear! Congrats on making the decision and esp for being happy with the results.
