  4. What we are experiencing is called "telogen effluvium". If you google that you will get a better understanding of process. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  5. I don't think so..talking to people and my own research has convinced me that there is nothing that can prevent it. And once it starts there doesn't seem to be anything to stop it. But on the other hand nothing seems to make it worse. And I asked my weight loss counselor if she'd ever seen anyone go bald as a result...her answer was a resounding "no"! 7. No..I lost a massive amount of hair but only I knew it..everybody else said they couldn't even tell Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  8. Mine lasted exactly 3 months which is pretty much average I believe Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  9. Okay..so like clockwork my hair started falling out at the 3 month mark exactly and continued for 3 months exactly. Clockwork. Now it's growing back and it's so "weird"..kinda curly (previously bone straight) and so fine! I look like I'm sprouting chicken feathers! Lol! SO what about you? Is you hair growing back different than what fell out? Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App

  18. No more queen for me!!! Happy Valentine's Day everybody!
  19. I think you do slow down as your body adjusts...I'm down around 60 in 6 months but as time goes on it gets slower and slower...I haven't changed what I'm doing...I just think it happens...
  20. I am six months out and I can't hardly stomach meat and eggs....did anyone else "convert" after wls?
  21. Yes sirree...I stocked up on miralax prior to surgery and never used it..I have hardly ever been constipated but the other? Wow! In fact I carry imodium everywhere I go...
  22. Has anyone found a good sugar free hot cocoa recipe? I need to borrow it to get through the holidays

  24. I agree I've been taking my supplements and protein and megadosing biotin and the results are the same. We have provided a shock to our system and this is what happens. Hair loss after traumatizing the body is par for the course....I don't think it has anything to do with calories or vitamins...
  25. Does anyone have any promo codes for Bariatric Choice?
  26. I don't think their is anything we can do but ride it out as part of the journey...I'm eating biotin like nobody's business but whether that does any good is debatable...
