  1. It really is frustrating! Been stalled for almost a month, it's hard to be doing all the right things and not see progress
  2. Expect to stall out but keep working. You are worth it! I lost 60 lbs quickly and the next 20lb have been harder. They say te less you have to loose the slower it comes off. I'm 40lbs away from my goal and more determined then ever.
  3. Jeff I can say without a doubt, ths surgery was te BEST thing I ever did for myself. You are not alone! You need answers just ask I'm here for you
  4. I work out 7 days a week doing walk to home dvd's. I'm down 82lbs since 2/24
  5. Ok first of all you have to stop the guilt it happen it's over now move on. Tomorrow is another day. Don't backslide and fall into bad habits. You made a mistake don't let it tear away all you worked for. Wake up tomorrow and make good healthy choices. Leave behind the negative and remember why you chose this.

  7. I think certain things just effect people differently. I eat chicken salad and chicken spread but chicken breast seems to rough on my stomach

  9. I ate spaghetti o's on mine. Puréed beef stew was good too.
  10. I still have trouble with chicken, I'm pretty much done getting sick though I'm almost 6 months out. I don't do red meat either
  11. Does anyone need several in great condition bras in a size 44dd? I went today and I'm down to a 40d. I understand some people might find it strange to wear others bras but it can get expensive. I could mail them out.
  12. Went back to work today, yep summer is over and I LOVED the looks on people's faces! Im not a vain person but I'm not used to all the positive attention. It made me feel really good.

  15. My dr told me if I was a patient person the band would work, I am NOT patient so I went. RNY the band needs adjusted and etc.
  16. Those are insane questions and I was not asked those. As the daughter of a psychiatrist I would have walked out! They asked me why I wanted the sugery and about my support at home and work. Typical questions on self esteem and etc, nothing to do with aliens and cartoons
  17. So many unhealthy things associated with soda, that I'm not going back to drinking it. I went through all this is be healthy and make the better choices concerning my health. I'll do as my dr said and avoid it. I do miss it but as much as I'd miss my new body by going back to bad habits
  18. I was off a week. I was ready and just paced myself and had great support at work
  19. My dr said no, caffeine is a diaretic and carbonation stretches the pouch.
  20. I was just honest with people and have been blessed that no one said anything non supportive in front of me at least. Remember you did ths for you! Maybe it's time you find out who your real friends are. Mine offered to walk with me and even came to see me in the hospital. People even offered to help get my son to his activities. I'm blessed

  22. Stalled out at 75 lbs and it sucks. It's been almost 3 weeks. I do all the right things so I need to stay positive and hope it starts again soon
  23. I never drank so no alcohol anyways. Yup fruits and veggies at this stage are encouraged. Over the vomiting too.
  24. I'm 5 months out and still don't eat bread. I don't even miss it. Life gets back to normal. I go out with friends and family. I just plan ahead and remember how far I've come that I don't want to go back
