  1. I saw the clothing forum but not much action. I have a lot of clothes size 20, some size 22. Lots of winter items and dresses, pants, shirts. Some items worn maybe once.

  3. Some people will be ignorant but ignore them. I work in surgery and we have all done these surgeries so we know what's involved. But I made the decision after 10 years of thinking about it. You did it to be healthy, it's not a magic pill it is hard work. 1 guy at work had this done and now 4 more of us are having it. You don't owe anyone anything. Just yourself
  4. This is my 3rd week but the 1st was in the hospital. I go back next week part time. I work in the operating room and stand all day for 12 hours. Not a good job for post op GP
  5. I am getting my protein in by shakes, I also have Fage Greek yogurt. It has the most protein. I was concerned about weakness as well (2weeks out) and the surgeon said it may be the rapid weight loss that is causing that. For me cold smoothies or shakes go down better and also the sf carnation instant breakfast.
  6. I tried diet coke but it was flat, my surgeon said I could do that. I had a little taste and it was enough. I have been drinking crystal light and store brand crystal light. Water is still hard for me, it hurts worse than anything.
  7. I am getting that too, I think it's gas. I am only 2 weeks out. My trocar site that they made the largest still hurts quite a bit. The muscle pulls and it feels horrible.
  8. How many weeks out before purée? I am doing full liquids now
  9. Once I get to purée I am hoping it helps. Just bought some mints
  10. How long does it last??
  11. Gum? I thought no gum
  12. It's horrible! I used listerine and brushed and it still smelled. My husband was like wtf lol Maybe altoids? My friend says I am in keytoses.
  13. I might try it, I just want real mashed so bad when I geg to that stage
  14. As anyone had issue with breath? Even after I brush its not so good. My poor husband lol
  15. I am on my second week off and am still having fluid intake issues and weakness. I am good for about an hour then I pass out. It's crazy. I am taking next week off. I work in an operating room and know I could not do a whole case at this point. I hope I get better soon
  16. Good luck sweetie. I had surgery 1 week 2 days ago and it was nice to get home. Gas still took me awhile and am having trouble with fluids. I hope you do well. Don't force yourself to do much.
  17. Anything, so far I haven't tasted the pill.
  18. Jen SoCal , My nutritionist said the Iron pills in the store can be crushed and added to drinks. I couldn't find chewable iron and called him. So I bought the regular Walgreens iron pills and crush them.
  19. I may be adding to many calories but I made a new drink that is yummy. I needed more protein and wasn't finding anything I liked. I mixed no sugar lo fat vanilla ice cream, van protein powder, instant coffee, and skim milk. Went down great and so far no side effects
  20. I am using liquid centrum and it's ok.
  21. I am going to buy smart Water then and I am trying full liquids because I am not getting Protein. My sheet says I can start so I am off to buy more shakes.
  22. I am trying to get fluids in, worried its not enough. I keep sipping like the doctor said and she also said I am still swollen. Started vitamins today. I am also getting hot flashes when I walk around. I do a lap around the house and I am beat. I am hoping this gets better
  23. Hi. I had my surgery Tuesday and came home today. It's a slow go but glad to be home.
  24. Yeah the gas and also the trocar sites but getting better. Morphine is great lol Go for my swallow this morning. Then I need a shower
