Not sure about Lactaid, never tried it. I used to drink a gallon a milk in 2-3 days before surgery, I missed milk but this Mootopia tastes so good. The chocolate milk is high in sugar though

Milk is not my friend anymore. I found Mootopia, it's lactose free, tastes like milk and 12 grams protein per 8oz!

My surgeon said I can try them and see. The nutritionist said everyone tolerates things differently. I can do toast.

Hi. I am about 5 weeks out. From talking with my surgeon and research I did, people have issues at 2-3 years due to old habits. They learn how to stretch the pouch and eat poorly again. Like my surgeon and nutritionist say, this is a tool not a magic pill. I wish you luck

Panda In Texas we have a grocery store called HEB. I just got it in their band aid area. Check your local grocery in the same department. They look like a big band aid and I cut down according to the size of my incision site. I figured I would need Biooil or mederma for them but these work and are cheap. Mine were $9 for 28 sheets. I can cover all sites with almost 1 sheet

Nivea skin firming had good reviews so I bought that. For incision marks, a plastic surgeon I work with suggested HEB brand silicone sheets. I cut them up and use those. They do work.

Yeah at first my husband was nervous and said only if I wanted to, then he found YouTube with all the before/afters. The positive is he keeps telling me how hot I will be. I just ask what about now? I am no sloth lol All we can do is be true to ourselves and love ourselves.

@aarval My husband and I are kind of going through the same. He said my fat got in the way and he wasn't attracted to me anymore. That was 6 mos ago. But since the start of our relationship 3 years ago, weight has been an issue in bed. Partially I think it's him and his "capabilities". Before him I had a wonderful sex life and I was still fat. But now that I/we know how much weight I will lose, he seems more into me. I love my husband with all my heart and know he loves me too. I just worry about the unknown

My husband is supportive. I do wonder what will happen when I get thin and pretty. He hated my weight but I think in a way it was his control, but now he won't have it. We love each other and plan all the activities we will do together. But I still wonder how he will be

Well went back 1 day this week and called out yesterday and today. The pain is so bad it's going into my back. I think my muscle layer is pulling where my trocar sites are. Saw the nut again and he says I am doing ok but might have lactose issues

I used FMLA for my time off. I work in surgery and 6 hours is a half day for me big I think it's too soon.

Yesterday was my first day back, 6 hr shift. After 1 1/2 hours I was exhausted and sore. Thank goodness the rest of the night was slow. I woke up exhausted and in pain. I was hoping at 3 weeks out I would be okay.

Hmm I have been having pains and I am not sure if it's just gas or what. Tomorrow is 3 weeks post op. I go back to work part time. Today I was ok then had horrible pain and now am in bed

Oh and I bought a pair of spanx but got a cheaper idea. In Texas we have sporting stores called Academy and I bought their brand of men's shirt and undershorts (like boxers) of compression clothes. They were $12.99 a piece compared to spanx at $36.

My surgeons at work said to wear compression clothes. I am hoping it helps
