Today I am....Depressed
You'll have to just go through this. I went through this at about 7 or 8 weeks. I was so angry, iritated, and then sad. Over and over again. At first I tried to ignore the feelings and finally I just had to embrace that is how I was feeling and let the feelings happen. You seem like the type that is a "giver" and takes care of others. I know from experience that we often give others the type of space and forgiveness we don't give ourselves. Allow yourself to not feel guilty or bothered or rushed by how you're feeling. Until you process all that you're feeling you'll just keep going through the emotions. So many hugs to you!! BTW, I also realized my reactions to situations changed. It used to be when I felt threatened (emotionally not so much physcially), competition, or nervous I would instantly feel my survival mode kick in and then feel somewhat stronger/empowered. Now, when in these situations I shake. Literally, I get tremmors. Not sure why that is, but I literally feel a sense of panic come over me. I make myself power through it but I've had to be really careful with what I watch and around people who give off a certain vibe. I hope that changes soon because I feel really vulnerable right now.

Post -Op Soft Foods my favorite, easy, Crockpot chicken curry 21 gms protei
When I was pregnant all the wives of the guys at work (I worked for an Indian owned company) sent in meals for my husband and I. To say my family and I love Indian food is an understatement. I will so be trying this! In fact, tomorrow the hubby and I are going to our fave Indian restaurant for our date night!!

PLEASE tell me my boobs will shrink
I hope when I'm in my 50s my breasts are unusually firm for a woman of my age. Heck I'd like that now. Mine are really firm but as I'm losing weight they are getting softer.

Oh yes...you sound like my parents!! The day I said twins they (divorced at that) smiled at each other and my Dad winked at my Mom. I'm getting it all back!

Don't worry about comparing yourself to others or worry you won't lose. Your body is already showing you, that you can lose. Enjoy your journey and work on all the "head" stuff. Congrats on your sleeve and 23 lbs!

Will be checking these out! Thanks ladies!!

Big mistake
Knowing me I'd still try it and then be upset with myself for doing it. Some people are the type you tell "hey you're going to burn your hand" and they won't touch the fire. I'm the type that says "who me?" and tries it anyway. Yup, I was that kid and now I'm that adult. My Sleeve has taught me to try not and push boundaries too much. That's I guess another NSV for me.

Anybody not hungry?
I do get hungry if I don't do my Water all day. On the days where I have tons of meetings and can't get to my water bottle...I FEEL IT!! I've been hungry all along so sure, I get hunger I just do my best to try and stay hydrated.

Anybody not hungry?
Sure, I eat things like dark turkey meat, very lean steak (yes it doesn't bother me and keeps me really full), shrimp, scallops, and pork. I also have steamed broccoli, cabbage, or green Beans. Now I reread my last post...I meant 2-3 oz of the protein, I then do like a 1/4 cup of veggies (sometimes if I can get it in). No wonder everyone was in shock. So sorry about that. Edit: now that's 2-3 oz by volume not weight. I use a measuring cup.

be honest
I've had a c-section too. My twins were full term and BIG. I've decided not to care about how my tummy looks out of clothes. I imagine I'll always have the pouch at the bottom. So long as it goes down more than it is now, I'll be okay.

be honest
I alternate. I was doing all these challenges and I found it zapped my energy more than helped. I'm 10 wks out BTW. Now I do a week of intense working out and a week of just walking. I've found I don't get as exhausted. I'm thinking once I get further out and can eat more, I'll bump it back up again. To be honest, this is my walk only week and I've lost 2 lbs. So my super 8 week stall ended when I decreased my exercise. Go figure!!

Too Small :(
I was told that most people retain their same overall body shape. So if you are curvy then most likely you will still be a bit curvy. So for example if you're a pear, you'll be a pear but a much smaller one. I would not worry about losing your shape. During the weight loss phase sure your body may lose and you may look out of proportion for a bit but as you near goal, you'll find that overall you look similiar. I've always had a smaller waist than breast and hips. As I'm losing inches I've found that my chest is going down at a much faster rate than my hips so I look more pear shaped. However this week my waist went down some so I'm back to more of a figure 8. Just go with your body's cues and you'll be fine.

Ye Olde Head Case
I too can't stand that gallery. They don't have my weight RIGHT NOW and I'm down overall 70 lbs. I can't imagine if I had tried it 70 lbs ago. What I've found is I like it better when I ask someone to show me someone that is my size/shape. That helps me better guage what I look like. Sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised and other times I know I need to hit the gym...like HARD. Globe, you're gorgeous girl! Don't let stupid sites and other things mess with your mind!

Help!
Are you on a liquid diet? If so, keep up with that. If not, maybe trying to do just liquids will get you there.

PLEASE tell me my boobs will shrink
I have already gone down. I'm 10 weeks and literally went from an H to DDD. So I'm expecting I'll go down more. Although I was never small in that area so I expect I'll wind up with some double letters when this is done.

not this week !
I was the opposite I wanted everything during my cycle but could only eat what I normally had been eating. I did manage to have a bit more of my meals a couple times. Do you feel tired or overall not well?

Clothes purging Pre op...Save me from myself!
This weekend I got rid of 3 trashbags worth of new/gently used clothes. Gave them away. I have on baggy pants today because I thought surely these would fit...nope! I would say DO NOT purge now. Some people lose weight fast and others inches. You don't know what you'll be yet. I was always quick at losing weight...well, surprise, now I'm an inch loser. Plus, you could always get some things taken in, which looking back I prob should have done, if I was not so lazy.

Can you eat salads?
I haven't tried salad yet. I can't imagine I could get it down. However...DeniseM I have to try that idea. Never thought about just ordering the salad and eating the toppings.

What is your workout routine?
Oh yes this! I should plug that into MFP all this time!

Anybody not hungry?
About 2-3 oz. Not much, but I am literally downing Water ALL DAY LONG. I spend my time, drinking, eating, Vitamins, and bathroom. I also don't have any poop problems because I am washing all this out. It is tough. But I make between 600-800 cals and most of my protein. I don't do any Protein Shakes because I can't tolerate them. That could also be why I'm staying full longer - solid protein.

Looking for advice
Were you put on an eating plan of Protein then veggies then fruit then carbs? If so, are/did you follow the plan? Did you have a pre-op plan that you had to follow? Edit: Also, how much protein, calories, Water are you getting daily?
