  2. Hi, I have PCOS and was sleeved in August. It hasn't really made a difference in my symptoms yet, but I think it probably will when I am farther out. I feel like I am losing more slowly than some others and I don't know if it is due to PCOS or not. I also have hypothyroidism, so that could be contributing as well. I was worried before surgery that I wouldn't lose because of the PCOS and the hypothyroidism, but I am.

  4. Did you ever find the cause of your headaches? I am out 12 weeks and have had a headache every day since surgery.

  16. Wow! What a difference! You look great. I am just 5 weeks out, but have been stalled for 18 days! It is finally starting to move in the right direction. If you are eating so little and working out, it is bound to move sooner or later!

  19. Hi! I had a little mac and cheese and also some egg salad on soft crackers. Also had tuna salad. For dinner, I would eat some fish and refried beans with guacamole. Soft, but satisfying. Good luck and congratulations on your loss so far!
  20. Congratulations on your great experience! I too had a lot of terrible gas pain for a few days, but it went away and I feel normal now. It will get better and better as you go along. I am 5 weeks out now and don't even feel like I had surgery at all. Good luck on your journey!
  21. Welcome. There is a lot of good information on here if you have any issues or questions! You are off to a great start! Congratulations!

  23. I have been stalled for 18 days......going up and down 1-2 pounds. Today the scale started moving down again!!! Was down 4 pounds from where I stalled. Hope this keeps going. I was getting worried, but now I am down 33 lbs. Had surgery 8/8/13. I didn't do anything different for the stall to end. It just started moving down again. I need to exercise more!!

  26. I am 5 weeks out today and have not lost anything for almost 2 weeks. Finally it started moving this morning, so hope it will keep going. I lost 21 lbs in the first 2 weeks after surgery, then nothing and even going up a few. I think it is water weight and also starting on more solid foods. Good luck to everyone!!!
  27. I did the same thing. My surgery was 8/8/13. Lost a lot the first 2 weeks, then stopped. Went up and down for 2 weeks and finally today it seems like it is headed down again. Check your measurements. Even though I wasn't losing pounds, I was losing inches. Drink your water.....it is hard, but helps flush out the fat and toxins in your body.
  28. Good Luck! With the time off and surgery!
  29. Surgery 8/8/2013. Lost 9 lbs on pre-op diet and have lost 21 since surgery for a total of 30. Have stopped losing for about 10 days now and am getting nervous. Have been losing inches though. I am just now starting to exercise, so hopefully that will help get the scale going in the right direction. Feel hungry about every 2 hours, but some on this site say it could be acid, so I am going to try Prilosec to see if that stops it. Having headaches almost every day and still tired, but feel good in general.
