  1. Milk bothers me also. I went to soy milk and it still felt heavy on my stomach, so now I do almond milk. It taste just as good as any of the other milks, or it does to me.
  2. colace or walmart brand of it. and miralax. If I take colace everyday I dont have a problem. The pill is small enough you can use it.
  3. I also cleaned my pantry and freezer out before surgery. I have also cleaned the grandkids snack cabinet out. No junk foods in this house either
  4. I thought the same thing about sweets until after surgery. Now I don't like sweets. The taste buds really change
  5. Does the unjury protein taste as good as the nectar ? Also is it light on the stomach ?
  6. I tired soy in mine. Soy was still to heavy for my stomach. I switch to blue diamond almond milk. It is not as heavy on the stomach. I still wish I could find something lighter than the almond milk,
  7. I dont regret mine at all. I no longer need and diabetes med. I was on insulin 3 times day. Sugar still run extremely high. The day of surgery my sugar was 301 today it barely runs between 87- 100. My liver had fatty liver disease that was turning to cirrhosis from fat. I have alot more energy. I am able to exercise, walk, clean house and I don't tire as easy, I also don't get short of breathe. Different ones are always complimenting on how good I look. I am 9 weeks post op I have lost around 53 pounds. I have dropped from a 24 in jeans to a 16. I have went from 3x - 4 x shirts to lg-xlg shirts. You will like it after you have it done. I got scared the last week. It is almost pain free surgery or was for me. Nothing worse than a cramp. Yes walk all you can, it keeps soreness down.
  8. I felt basically the same way. They finally had to giving me my sleeping med. back and I still dont sleep past about 6 hours.
  9. I went to cream soups the next day after coming home. I couldnt do the baby food, or the purred foods. I couldnt stand the texture. So I went to cream soups then chopped and a few days later small bites. I eat what I want except I dont eat sweets or carbonated drinks, vegetable soup is the only thing that has made me sick and that was a few nights ago. I am 9 weeks post op. My Dr told me I was doing great and that I should be able to eat what I want.
  10. I took a hormone shot after my surgery and I stalled for 3 weeks which was long enough to start getting the hormones out of the body. So needless to say Is topped taking my hormone shot.
  11. the foam will happen with the nectar also. Sometimes I will just stir mine good, but the nectar doesnt dissolve as good that way. I also use almond milk I tried water first
  12. Blue diamond is what I use. I havent tried any other brand. O was told blue diamond was the best
  13. I feel the fullness. I am 9 weeks out and about 2 ox meat alone is plenty for me. My stomach doesnt like vegetables yet
  14. Garnier's "Fall Fight really helps. Mine stopped breaking so far. I am 9 weeks post op
  15. try some probiotic pearls they are really tiny and they help with the gas and bloating along with gas x strips
  16. I have energy most days. Energy is higher in the mornings
  17. I get cold easier. My hubby put electric blanket on the bed for me.
  18. Thanks I am feeling a little better this morning. I hope I continue to feel better today. I guess my body just is not ready for vegetables yet
  19. I like the syntrax nectar the chocolate truffle, strawberry mousse and the cappuccino is all good. before surgery I drank the pure protein since I cannot tolerate it. The syntrax nectar has been all my stomach could tolerate
  20. My husband has been very supportive through this. He has babied me all the way. Now he can't keep his hands to his self. He always touching me. He also tells me how pretty and how he don't care what I weigh he loves me. When we met and married I was skinny. I had a hysterectomy 4 years after we married and I blew up. Now I am 2 months post op and on my way to being skinny again. With a wonderful husband of fixing to be 20 years.
  21. I am 2 months post op. I have been able to eat whatever I wanted without getting sick. Until last night. I decided yesterday I wanted homemade vegetable and beef soup. So I cooked a pot of it. I can only eat a small amount of anything. I be damn if it didnt make me sick. I got sick last night throwed up once. Today I got up my stomach has cramped and tore up one time. I have felt weak and like **** all day.
