Way diff than band
Had my band to sleeve revision almost 9 weeks ago, was at a party last night and passed out. I had one small drink, turns out I was severely dehydrated. I swear I thought I was drinking enough during the day, I guess not. My urine was brown. Fluids are so important even further out u go. I gotta be more careful. Just want to remind people, if you aren't eating, you need to be drinking!

No issues
I'm almost 6 weeks out and I've ha zero issues, not that I'm complaining at all. I've had spicy, dairy sometimes is iffy, but I've even had a drink and nothing. Sometimes for my own sake I wish certain things bothered me for my own good. I'm very thankful that I've had no issues, other than doing a lot if head work

Drink
I've had one hell of a few weeks, today I'm having a little vodka cranberry. (Sigh) I hope I'm not messing things up

Leaks?
When does the risk for a leak go way down? Monday is 5 weeks out for me. No issues, no nothing, other than just a little food at a time! I'm being paranoid, I know, sometimes I cannot help but read the complications forum. I feel great, energy is good. S I can't complain, I just want to be in the clear.

Feel guilty
It felt fine! Lol, too good! I had a rum and coke or a glass or two of wine daily. This was a treat! The only thing I'm noticing is if I'm gng to drink anything, ( water, g2, etc) I have to time it right, bc I need my protein, so it's all in balance. This is my second WLS, had the band for 4 yrs. this isn't my first rodeo, but this is a good rodeo compared to the band!

Feel guilty
I used to drink everyday! This has been an adjustment! I guess I feel that one or two every couple months isn't gng to kill me! I just don't want it to be too soon!

Regret even after initial "omg, what have I done?"
Enigma! It does get better I promise! I'm 5 weeks out and I wanted to punch everyone in the throat that told me that " it will get better " but now at 5 weeks out I can tell u that it does! I had plenty of wtf moments and started replacing food with my pain meds and had to shut that off real quick! If u ever want chat please feel free!

Feel guilty
Went out tonight for the first time since surgery, 11/26. Had a small vodka cranberry and now Feeling like it was too soon. I barely got a buzz. Lol. I know some docs ok a small glass at like 4 weeks out. Nothing has really bothered my sleeve, not spicy, nothing. Ugh, anyone else have a drink this soon out?

5 weeks out and weird pain?
Questions for some post op VSG, I'm almost 5 weeks out and every time I bend over, like tonight in the movies in my seat, I get this kinda intense burning in my stomach. It def feels muscular, or tissue related, but hoping I didn't do something? It almost feels like I'm being stabbed slowly, lol, sorry only way i can describe it, and I have to sit up quick. Is this just healing?

How long out can a leak happen?
How long out from surgery are u pretty much in the clear? I'll be 4 weeks post op Monday, I've had no problems, and I'm on soft foods. Everyone seems to be coming down with a stomach bug and it freaks me out! Am I far enough it to not be worried anymore?

No alcohol ever?
This is what support group told me tonight led by our NUT. If we as sleevers drink, everything pass our stomach will become necrotic. You mean to tell me that a glass of wine here and there is gng to KILL me? I know a lot of surgeons release their patient to drink in small moderation at like 3-4 months. What gives? What are ur thoughts?
