Jumped ahead in the post-op diet.......

Well I am on day 5 of the post op clear liquid diet and I am struggling a bit. I am so tired of juice and water and broth smells are not setting well with me. So i decided to jump ahead a little and have some carnation instant breakfast (hot). Im really only few hours shy of being day 6 when I could start but I just couldnt wait!! Having something warm seemed to help! I am looking forward to some soups and protein shakes. I am struggling with wanting to eat though. But I cant figure out if I am physically hungry or head hungry and just missing solid foods that I love so much! I would love to hear from others going through similar situations. I would also love to hear from sleevers that are further along and let me know if i will ever again be able to enjoy the foods i love and miss just in smaller quantities.

I went to cream soups the next day after coming home. I couldnt do the baby food, or the purred foods. I couldnt stand the texture. So I went to cream soups then chopped and a few days later small bites. I eat what I want except I dont eat sweets or carbonated drinks, vegetable soup is the only thing that has made me sick and that was a few nights ago. I am 9 weeks post op. My Dr told me I was doing great and that I should be able to eat what I want.

I'm so ready to be able to move to cream soups. My sleeve does not like cold drinks, it cramps to the point of nausea. I hold the drink in my mouth for a few seconds to warm it, but apparently not long enough. I do ok with broth, but that gets old after a while.
