Gas after new food

Hi Everyone,

I am 9 days post and was wondering if others had a similar experience to this. I am just starting pureed food and each time I try a new food from my list I get terrible gas while it tries to process it. There is no pain but not the nicest thing to have. Was hoping it was not just me and this was something normal as the stomach gets used to processing food again.

Thanks for any input:)

Good Morning and congrats on the surgery!!!

Dont worry most of us go through that during the healing process... I am one month post op and until today i am afraid to eat the simplest things because of the gas pains i get after including hiccups and burping that can become very embarrassing, but it is normal during the first couple month (i asked my doctor)... Hope you get well soon and know that it is just for a short time.
