  1. I did today too! I ate two meatballs and half a zucchini muffin. I feel hot and dizzy and I'm at work!
  2. It's hard at first but gets easier. Your introducing food back into your stomach. I wouldn't go back to all liquids because your stomach won't get used to real food.
  3. I haven't had any issues either and I'm thankful!
  4. I was feeling really bummed with my slow weight loss too. I talked to my friend who had the surgery over a year ago and she said she felt the same way until about 3 or 4 months the weight started flying off! I hope the same happens for me!
  5. I don't regret this surgery at all! I'm even glad I didn't do it sooner! My options would have been gastric bypass or the band....boo! Plus now they have figured out that the sleeve needs to be smaller than what they did 5 yrs ago. Also, with all my attempts at dieting over the years, I've learned to make good food choices. Timing was perfect!
  6. I get a feeling that my chest is going to explode! I eat what I measure out and not until I'm full. It's always enough. I never really felt full on liquids.
  7. Its amazing how much food is on tv!!! I didn't notice until I was sleeved!
  8. I like game nights too! If you have a Wii you could play Wii sports or fit
  9. Instead of buying food go bowling, walk, put put golf, ride bikes, hit the trails, join a gym, go to the mall. You don't have to have a vigorous work out just get your body moving especially since you have a desk job!
  10. Don't over analyze what people say. He's just being supportive! Be thankful that he's just as excited as you are. My husband has seen how miserable I was and says the same thing. We get excited together daydreaming of the time I will actually be a normal weight and have the energy to do all the things we want to do!
  11. I like mine simple.... A can of chicken 3 eggs Mayo Greek seasoning Pepper I add Franks hot sauce. It's more like chicken egg salad. So delish!
  12. DONT DO IT!!!!! It's impossible to lose weight on it (before surgery experience). And I was so moody plus absolutely no sex drive. I have the paragard IUD that has no hormones and it can last up to 10 yrs.
  13. Congratulations! I'm so envious! I haven't been a size 16 since junior high!
  14. Girl, my breath is hot too! I eat mints and 10 minutes later its back!
  15. I would agree with the others if you were further along but one week out?! He should be more considerate! Your feelings are totally valid! Next time you both leave the house let him know your not comfortable watching him eat at a restaurant!
  16. I confess I also would like to run into all of my exes when I'm thin! I confess I did this surgery against my husband's wishes and I didn't care that he was against it. (He's totally supportive now) I confess I still drink wine and did 3 weeks out I confess I don't even miss food. I can't even think if something I would want to splurge on. I confess I wish I would lose faster! I feel like I went through so much with this surgery, and I want immediate results darn it!
  17. I don't think bones play that big of a role. They probably have a bigger butt and boobs than you. Or are shorter than you.
  18. I would wait because if you end up having a c section more than likely you will have an apron!
  19. With my past experience with losing weight, I always stall a week before my period then lose like 10 pounds after. I'm hoping that will happen again!
  20. I couldn't stand clear liquids any longer so by the fourth day I moved on to full liquids and added Greek yogurt and strained cream soups. Broth makes me gag now!
  21. Ok mine started yesterday (a week late)! It seems to be the same. Mine are usually not heavy and only last 3-4 days. I pray it stays that way! It does explain why the scale has been going the wrong way though!
  22. I haven't read all the replies. I went to Mexico out of desperation and thank God I'm ok. I understand giving people info that you have personally experienced and don't understand all the backlash! I don't think anyone should be put down for going to MX there are a lot of success stories. I knew a few people who went before me so I felt comfortable.
  23. I have 2 month old so I have no choice to hold him. Be careful because 3 of my incisions opened back up 3 weeks post op!
  24. How far out are you, Donny? I want to work out so bad. I still have 2 weeks until I'm cleared. I worked out before I had a baby (he's 2 mos) then I had surgery so it's been a very long time. I'm so weak! I can't wait to get some muscle tone back!
  25. You probably need more calories. I'm 4 weeks out and am eating between 700 and 800 calories.
