November 2012 sleevers how are you doing ?
My surgery was November 28 down 31lbs. I feel good so far except for days where I feel really weak and always feel like I am starving. Other than that, I am happy with my progress.

Hunger
I too have had this and I am 5 weeks out. Drinking fluid helps but it seems like it comes back within the hour. I always feel like I am hungry, instead of eating food I will tr an ice pop or a sugar free fudge pop.

Looking for inspiration while i heal my leak! Photos?
Sannah, I know exactly how you feel, i was sleeved Nov 28 and I have a 14mo old and felt so helpless! All he wanted was for me to do everything with him, I felt so guilty. But now my Dr. cleared me and I can pick him up, cuddle and play with him. It's all worth it. So far i have lost 25lbs since my surgery. Good luck!!!

wine at 6 weeks anyone?
At my 1 month Check up, my Doc said I was cleared to have a glass of wine when I wanted. So I guess it depends on your surgeon.

wine at 6 weeks anyone?
GIGi3 I was cracking up on your we fatties line....I too miss my glass of wine every now and then. I am only 2 weeks out, my surgeon allows 1 glass every so often. I would advise you double check with your surgeon. I wouldn't abuse the every so often, don't forget the stomach lining is not as thick as before. Also if your still taking the antacids be careful!!

Gettingmylifeback11/2012 replied to Gettingmylifeback11/2012's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&AIs it? I have had soups and vegetables have been so soft they are mush when I eat it. I have had mashed potatoes, beans and Eggs. I don't know what else to eat? I am getting bored with the food. Thursday I start soft foods, so maybe it will get better. I will start in the morning at one wait then by the time bedtime comes it goes up by 1lb. I do 3 protein shakes a day too and lots of fluids. Is this normal?
