  1. I love all of you, and we are a great group !!!
  2. I agree, for someone who can build excel spreadsheets , quote the web, and keeps everyone informed, you must have the technology To get a pic up sooner than a few weeks. Be like Nike....... Just do it !!!
  3. Ask for a copy of the operation report you can get it from your surgeons office. Takes 2-4 days after surgery. Or make them show it to you at hospital. I would be asking !!!!!
  4. Take your pain Meds as directed. Don't wait for pain to come in. I got a sleep aid from my dr after week 1 cause I had massive gas pain. Get up and move, even if you just walk around the house. Week 1 is the toughest. I am 3 months out and things are great !!! Keep going, you will do great !!
  5. My surgery was in 6/4. My weight then was 245. I am currently 198. Surprises.... 1. Gas pain was worse than incision pain... Hot liquids, gas x and walking helps. 2. Hormones.... They start to go a bit crazy as they release from the fat. Ride it, try to remember why you did this. Trust me, each day is like my life is starting new. I am so happy 3. Burping and farting.... Lol 4. Runny nose 5. You must drink as much Water as possible, sip, sip all day 6. Stalls... You will hit one at about 4 wks. Just stick with the program, it will happen more than once. 7. Take measurements... You will be amazed I love the new me and I am only 3 months out. I have lost 47 lbs, the men are coming out of the wood work, and I truly think this was the best thing I have ever done. It is not easy, use this forum. We are all here for you, good luck !!!

  11. Thanks, I am much more confident now, I was always beautiful in the inside but my body screamed otherwise !!! This truly is a blessing
  12. I am almost 3 months post op (6/4 surgery). I have lost 47 lbs, I am 3-4 sizes down, slimmest I have been in 20 years. Seems so surreal !!! I can dance without losing my breathe and I have so much energy finally that my body can move as fast as my mind... I used to pretend I was just a body experiment gone bad, god has finally begun to hear my prayers and let the world see what a beautiful person I am now !!!
  13. My emotions were a roller coaster in the first two months. It's because all those hormones were stored in your fat and are now being released. Just ride it, I am almost 3 months post op, feel great and energetic and no longer depressed
  14. I think we all think of ourselves as overweight. I am only about 3 months post op, and I am thinner than I have been in 20 years. I actually have some curves and the men are coming out of the wood work , so not used to that. Lol . I am not afraid to take pictures now.
  15. Posted these another thread too first 2 now/ last one- 2 1/2 months ago
  16. I am 2 1/2 months post op, and down 46 lbs
  17. Panda , I have keeping up with your posts and you are doing great, keep you chin up !!
  18. I finally got to onderland . Down 45 lbs since surgery 6/4
  19. It happened to me too, then I began to lose again. I think stalls happen through the whole process. I am 2 1/2 months out and lose a steady 2-4 lbs a week then all of a sudden 2 lbs overnight. I eat about 700 calories a day
  20. Today I jumped on the scale and it read 199.8. I almost broke out in tears. I ran to get my phone to take a pic of wonderland and when I came back it read 200.6. How frustrating !!!! I will be there in wonderland soon !!!!!!!
  21. I have to admit I have found a fondness of Cheetos. When I eat them, I have 4-5. I hate that I can eat them and no effects. It's that love/ hate thing going.... Surgery 6/4/12
  22. DL; I could read your posts all day, you are the most inspirational person in this site. Soccer mom: I did the same thing with the letter and I did a very simple will, making sure my 10 year old son was protected in any and every way. To me that is love.
  23. I buy than and the peach/apple. Keeping liquids interesting helps me get my oz's in. However at 2 months post op I still struggle.
