  11. 12 years ago that happened to me, I had and insurance that would pay, but bmi has to be 40 or 35 with 2 co-morbid factions. Start looking them up and the ones that fit you need to be noted. Your surgeons office should be experienced With getting this approved very simply, or maybe find a new surgeon. Now 12 years later, I Was borderline bmi and started losing weight and got scared ins would deny, i put stuff in my pockets that would be a pound or two ! Find out what weight was submitted to insurance too. Go after surgeon office, make them help you
  12. Congrat, good luck, you'll be in my thoughts tomorrow !!!

  16. Hi my name is Sandy, and I am a single mother of a 10 year old boy. I am currently at 249, have been through my 3 month program and have been approves by my insurance. My surgery is scheduled for June 4. I am not nervous or scared. I attempted to have gastric bypass 12 years ago but was denied by insurance because my bmi was too low with no co morbids. I ended up exercising and eating right and lost 60 lbs to get me down to 205 (my highest was 272). Over the past 12 years i have been a yo yo with the weight, and diets. I feel like i have been waiting 12 years (as I sat by and watched my sister and mother have surgery and be 100% successful ), and I am fully committed to what ever it will take. When I started my program I was at 262, and my goal weight is 150. I no idea what it feels like to be at a healthy weight, and I refuse to let food rule my life anymore.
