  14. Drink something hot, take gas x and walk around the house as much as you can. Tonight I ate something and within 2 minutes was off to the bathroom dry heaving, found that I must have gotten a pocket of gas somewhere. I could tell because it felt like the gas I had in the first 2 weeks and I drank some coffee, took some gas x and started burping the gas out. It took me 2 hours to get rid of it, but I finally did. At first I thought I was dumping from a canned mushroom, only to figure out it was gas, and to be honest not real fun. Best of luck getting rid of it, just telling you what works for me..
  15. Lots... Try something hot lie herbal tea, it helped me a lot. I had gas pains for 2 weeks. It was worse than the incision pain. I am a month out today and feeling great, keep up the good work !!
  16. This whole thread has made me laugh. I will give you some of my "unexpected" list 1. After surgery you will be amazed how hard it is to move in the bed I was pushed by my mother to get out of bed the first night to walk, I was glad I did, she had surgery 8 yrs ago and knew what wa right and wrong. Thank goodness I have her. 2. Gas pains, Omg... The worst part for me, it was worse than incision pain, gas x, and hot fluids and walking it out helped the most. It was rising to my shoulder when I laid down and made it hard to sleep. It took a good 16 days afte surgery til gone. 3. Having to remember NOT to tasty food I was cooking for others. 4. Getting in enough Water and Protein 5. Hormonal changes, wow, tears, getting impatient quick.
  17. I noticed I have a couple too and thought that was strange. Hormones real ate whacked, That I definitely noticed
  18. Surgery 6/4 , first one I. Up and walking that night , swallow test in am, liquids for lunch, home at 6pm. Overnight only
  19. Surgery 6/4. Down 25 lbs, but indefinitely feel 40 lbs lighter. Start measurements , you will be amazed. I have lost 30.5 inches, that was at 3 wks post op
  20. Congrats, can't wait to hit that mark. 1/2 way there
  21. I am starting to feel bones and muscles in my body that I was never able to before. I always had a flat wife ass , and now any padding I had is gone. I feel for ya... Pillow is probably best idea.
