Dumping?

So I ate my dinner, waited 30mins to drink my Water and now I have this horrible pain in the center of my chest that goes down to my sternum along with on and off nausea... is this dumping from drinking too soon or something else? I've never had to wait more than 30mins before. Really doesn't feel good, almost like terrible gas pain but in my chest

Drink something hot, take gas x and walk around the house as much as you can. Tonight I ate something and within 2 minutes was off to the bathroom dry heaving, found that I must have gotten a pocket of gas somewhere. I could tell because it felt like the gas I had in the first 2 weeks and I drank some coffee, took some gas x and started burping the gas out. It took me 2 hours to get rid of it, but I finally did. At first I thought I was dumping from a canned mushroom, only to figure out it was gas, and to be honest not real fun. Best of luck getting rid of it, just telling you what works for me..

It has worked for me EVERYTIME

spoke with my RN and she says that it sounds like the chicken got stuck

I spoke to someone else who had the same issue with a mushroom, could have been dumping too for me, all I know is it was not a good night. It was not the first and will not be the last, but still worth it !!!

It happens to me when I drink to fast sometimes or if the food doesn't agree with me. I must vomit it out. If it's upsetting your pouch vomit it out.

Stuck food sucks so bad! It seems there are just some things that don't work well with our pouches. I do chicken great! But pork, no matter how well I chew or how little I eat, makes me sick! It seems to work pretty fast when something gets stuck, I don't give it time I just go right upstairs and get rid of it. Ahhh the new pouch and it's pissy ways.

Yup it's the worst feeling. Hate to be the bearer of bad news...I'm 4 years post op and I still have that happen. I can't have pork for the same reason and god forbid I eat chicken that's too dry .

I always keep gasx with me.. Your experience sounds like my Brussels sprout incident. I couldnt eat at all for 24 hours. After that every new food I try is in very small amounts.
