  4. I bet you'll do it, you're stronger than u think! I just got outta the hospital today, I gained weight after seminar then lost a little pre op but still was heavier than seminar weight, but my surgeon was proud of my tiny loss and said from surgery on is where he's really going to monitor my loss! Best of luck sweetie!!!
  5. I'm home, doing great w walking and fluids, 30oz down on first day! Luckily, no bad gas just bad incision pains.
  6. If my body can relearn how to pee lol, got my catheter out finally, [ATTACH]408[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]409[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]410[/ATTACH] drank some liquids from my first "meal" maybe a hot shower will help? I dunno, if anyone has tips or tricks on how to pee please share!!
  7. Thank you all! And yes my highest weight was 295lbs I'm 5'5 tall, have a 2 year old, my pre op weight was 238.3 and the swelling is pretty bad. I had an emergency c section and w that plus being big my belly usually hangs over a bit but the swelling has it perky lol

  9. Had my surgery at 9am yesterday morning , thank God no problems w gas, can't pee on my own so I've got a catheter in, walking great,getting plenty of walks in I'm loving it!

  13. Oh man! Being able to: shave, wrap a towel around myself, RUN, dance, wear cute heels, not use a cpap machine while sleeping without fear of dying, waterparks, not feeling like I'm being stared at, not sweating for no reason, RUNNING, I really wanna run lol can u guys tell???
  14. I'm 29,(I know, I know getting old almost not in my twenties lol) but... I'm having my surgery after almost 3 years of runaround & junk, on THIS Friday July 6th! Sooooo psyched and so nervous! Good luck to y'all!

  16. Just letting you guys know my Rny is Friday, I go in at 7am and surgerys at 9am! Doing bowel prep (yuck) today and trying to get in protein & water, have a great weekend and keep me in your prayers please.

  18. Hi! I'm new and my surgery is July 6th,tomorrows the first day of my pre op liquid diet. I'm very excited and nervous, caught myself thinking all the terrible what-ifs and almost backed out, then I was admitted to the hospital with gallbladder pain, I thought it was a heart attack and at 29 years old that scared me back into the reality of why I need this surgery. I'm in Arkansas and have no face to face support group so I'll be here lots. [ATTACH]327[/ATTACH]
