Hello... I know foreign countries will always be cheaper then the USA. Do you really wanna risk your life? You can't sue for malpractice. Here you can. You might be lucky, but what are the chances in something going wrong? I here a lot of stories people going to foreign countries, and coming out with a ball in there boobs, being disfigure, and they end up getting plastic surgery all over again but with a USA surgeon.

Well that's why I am asking if anyone has. I know that in 2012 we can't be that silly as not to see that other country's have good docotors too. Lord knows I love my USA but I also believe talent isn't limited to this country.

Your right about that, but personally I wouldn't take a chance. I want 3 things done, and my hubby says stick only with a tummy tuck.

Well that's good for you then. But I am looking for info about people who have or want to travel abroad, to have the plastic surgery done :)

I wish you luck & all the best.

Hi Got2Bethin - you are welcome to chat directly with some of our patients who have traveled to Mexico to have surgery with our Board Certified Plastic Surgeons via our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/CosMedClinic or via our blog http://plasticsurgerymexicoinfo.com/category/success-stories/ Dr. Quiroz, in particular is licensed to practice in the US as well as Mexico, but you can save $$ by going to his new center in Mexico (CosMedClinic.com). Feel free to do research on CosMed Clinic or Dr. Quiroz to find real patient reviews.

I so have been looking around for plastic surgery and I found a Dr. His name is Dr. Fisher, look up O.C beauty .com very affordable and board certified

I looked him up and yes it's a little cheaper but not by too much. Which is why I want to go to mexico for my procedures.

Hello

I live in pittsburgh pa and had my first or 3-4 Surgey's. I love my plastic surgeon. The first surgey I picked 2 have was a breast lift and aug. she suggested breaking it up in2 diffrent times of Surgey's and by doing it this way she can save me over$10,000. So now I am hopping 2 have the next BIG one done in a year or 2. Also by breaking them up u can have time 2 save up more $$.

Thank you to all who answered to my post, however not to my question.

I am wanting to talk to those who DID chose to go to Mexico or abroad for cosmetic surgery.

I trust other country's doctors and I really don't like the slander on Mexican doctors. Some are genius just like some in the USA are too. That is why for my breasts I would only see dr Robert Rey (usa doc)and not other surgeons in the USA because he is amazing in breasts and does them in Beverly hills all the time.

Again I thank you guys for your posts but I DO want to go abroad for my plastic surgery.

Thanks

Not sure how to comment on the forum. But I wanted to share that I went to Puerto Vallarta for my RNY. I was scared out of my mind. But I was greatly surprised of the care I received and the quality of the hospital and the Drs care and empathy for his patients. The cost was significantly cheaper and my insurance would not cover my surgery. I paid $8500 for my surgery including hospital fees. I had additional cost for airfare, hotel (5 days required at hospital but they want you there for at least 10 days to remove drains). I plan on going back for plastics when it's time.
