I should never try now it seems like the worst motion. But I can't wait to get back out there. I'm hoping maybe by eight weeks. Up until yesterday I had no pain and never would have even realized I had surgery. I really have been blessed with an easy path. Now to break this stall and get this going in the right direction.
  2. Thanks for the kind words. I'm down well about ten post surgery and you are right because that should have been very hard before. I actually lost through my tom then stalled and gained after. I know it's not a magic pill and don't expect miracles. I was just hoping working out would break my stall not add weight. And you are right I feel so blessed to have my new tool. I'm in pain today after having a dream survey and recovery so far. I need to be thankful for those things. Thanks for the reality check I needed it. I've had a very positive attitude until yesterday. Just frustrated. Thanks again I love this board!
  3. Ok I'm just one day post three weeks post op (1/25} and at two weeks was given the clearance to work out and swim, just no weight lifting yet. I swam at least ten miles since Monday and walked more. Now I'm in pain and gained 4 pounds. I rarely eat even 400 calories so it can't be fat can it? I'm up 4 to flat for over a week. I literally cried yesterday. So frustrated and sad.

Anybody know when we might have clearance to golf again? I'm three weeks post op and couldn't imagine now.
  5. Congrats and feel better.
  6. I would certainly be filling out that survey. Maybe it was a blessing I couldn't have it Rex. I was nervous because mine was at a very small hospital. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  7. So sorry about your experience. I had surgery in Raliegh too on the 25th of January. I was fighting to have it at Rex but I couldn't for various reasons so I did wonder if it was there. Any way I wish you the very best. Welcome!
  8. Congrats and welcome. Our stats are very similar too.
  9. I'm in Raliegh and am two weeks out now, no regrets. I went in for lap band thank goodness a gentleman in the waiting room told me about the sleeve. Good luck.
  10. Great job! You look beautiful (in both)!
  11. I gained ten pounds in the hospital and am now 13 days out and down 21 from there already. It's fluids.
  12. Congrats! Today IS your day!
  13. Best wishes! You'll do wonderfully.
  14. Congrats. Sorry you have a rough start. Hang in there it gets better. I couldn't get water down but could other liquids like ice tea so try different things. I need to do better with protein but I'm also never hungry. Heal quickly.
  15. That's great! I'm right behind you. I think I'd be there if I didn't gain ten in Fluid at the hospital. Congrats!
  16. I have trouble with plain water too. I can do Powerade Zero and decaf iced tea but water is harder.
  17. I love my sleeve. I feel blessed to have this chance to be healthier. Down 16 since coming home last Thursday but I had tons of fluid. And I started right at 35 bmi couldn't be happier even with the pain
  18. Best wishes And we are happy to slide down the bench we keep making more room any way!
  19. So excited for you guys! Best wishes. Though I'm still in pain I could not be more thrilled with my decision. I feel in control and like real change is finally in my future. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
