  1. Can you tolerate the lettuce? I'm five weeks out and it sounds great.
  2. I was released to swim at two weeks, but it seems a bit early. I have been swimming almost daily for 60/70 min per day since. I'm five weeks out.
  3. It's the hardest part ever. Post op was so much easier. Hang in there.
  4. That is wonderful! I'm hoping to break a three week stall soon and join you.
  5. I was allowed back to the pool at two weeks and did so, but think that was too soon.
  6. I got off shortly after surgery. I was 160/110 without meds and now I'm 120/70 usually without meds and I'm only down about 26 pounds. Been stalled three weeks ugh.
  7. Best wishes you'll be thrilled! So happy for you.
  8. Did you have any luck increasing calories? I'm in a similar boat.
  9. I didn't use much at all. Chapstick, gas x and my phone. I wore home the same thing I did there. I brought a hat too because I hate my hair a mess. I stayed in the gown and was glad I did because an stitch popped and bled everywhere. Loose pants and a sports bra were comfortable. Best wishes.
  10. I was going to say the same thing as Katie, feel better and praying it is minor.
  11. You'll be fine. I found it a little uncomfortable driving and getting in and out of the car. But I was doing everything with the kids on my own by four days out even going to the barn and helping with the horse a bit and walking a lot. I was surprised. But I'd go to bed very early that first week.
  12. Hang in there I'm three weeks out too and would never know I had surgery except I'm never hungry and can eat very little. I can even drink normally except water, weird. I don't have a bougie though and no drain. Feel better soon! You'll be here soon.
  13. You'll do great! I agree with everybody above the first week is tough, but I was never hungry. By the end of the second week I was feeling 100% and back to the gym like nothing happened. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Best wishes!
  14. Keep up the good work! Looks great.
  15. Congrats and best wishes, so exciting!
  16. I swim in a 25 yard pool it's about 35 laps or 70 lengths. When I competed we did a 1650. So I count a mile every 35 laps.
  17. I'm 39 and struggled most of my life even though I'm active. I had the sleeve on the 25th and am about three weeks out now and feel amazing, swimming and walking every day. Best decision I have ever made. I had a dream recovery minimal pain and no nausea. I'm so excited to get off the sidelines of my own life. Best wishes.
  18. Welcome! I'm in the Cary area and am three weeks post op. I feel like I never had anything done already. Best wishes!
  19. He briefly looked at the incisions at week two and said fine to swim. I'm really thinking it was too soon. I used to do a mile well under 19 minutes but these days it's more like 30. I've been swimming 60/70 minutes straight no beaks. Plus I walk my dog a lot. I have an appt in the am but I'm pretty sure if I go he'll say it's fine and I'll have wasted my time. I'll decide in the am.
  20. I don't have help, but I'm having the same issue. I'm off my bp meds and feel strange every time I stand up. Mine is very low now and has been since right after surgery.
  21. I started swimming a couple miles a day around two weeks out and was walking about three miles a day from a couple days out. But I worked out before surgery too.
