  1. Worst-Fear of not waking up and leaving my 4 children behind. Head hunger Best-Already being able to keep up with my kids easier/have more fun with them. Dropping 2 pants sizes in my first month post op,woot! =)
  2. Woot, woot!! Congrats to you!!!! You look great!
  3. Hi,congrats on your decision to be sleeved! You will love it! =) I did not have this same plan. I had a 2 week pre-op diet,(but I have heard of alot of ppl not having to have a pre-op diet at all),I did have a catheter but they took it out before the anesthesia wore off and they did not do a leak test on me,but I stayed 2 days.
  4. Me too! lol Ok I can only hope to look half as good by the time my 2nd month is up! Amazing progress!
  5. This is such an amazing transformation!! Congrats to you,I am 6 weeks out and this is a real inspiration to me!!!! I am curious to know what a day's meals consist of for you. ((HUGS)) You should be so proud of yourself!
  6. WOW!!! Great job girl!! How tall are you??
  7. Congrats on your sleeve!!! I had mine 5 weeks ago and I love it also!
  8. How far out are you? I am 5 weeks out and honestly I haven't kept a strict count on anything bc I know I'm not eating near enough to do any damage. I am pretty much living on protein drink and water. :/ Sorry I couldn't be of much help,I would ask your nutritionist how many carbs you should be having.
  9. 20 pounds is awesome in a month! I lost 20 pounds in my first month(24 now,at 5 weeks out) and it feels great! If you lose another 20 every month, your excess weight will be gone in no time girl!! Just have to give it time, and let your body take it's own course. And yes, those pounds are never coming back,it's not like those yo-yo diets we've all done before where we lose a bit, stall, then give up and gain the weight back and then some, our sleeves will keep working as long as we utilize them right, they will get us through the stall and probably lose a couple extra pounds after. Even if you do lose the weight slower than others, you're still gonna lose it. ((HUGS))
  10. Wow,I know that must feel awesome! CONGRATS!!! Cannot wait to check this off my list of nsv's!
  11. I know how you feel girl! Just think about your health and the rest of your life. Carrying extra weight now while we're young may or may not do too much to our health, but carry it for 20 more years and it will likely do alot. One of the main reaosns I had the sleeve done was to give me a better chance at being here longer for my 4 children, and to set a great example of health and fitness for them,in hopes that they won't grow up and be overweight like I have been since the age of 10. I def think you're making the right decision, just hang in there, you'll be on the loser's bench in no time! =)) We're all here to support you.
  12. There is hope! You are so young and didn't get too awfully big so I would think there is some serious hope you won't have many problems with skin at all. Just keep hydrated, keep up with your Vitamins, get a good compression garment, and invest in some great oils and lotions. Oh and exercise your butt of. =)
  13. It is going great actually. I thought I would still wanna eat the same things like I used to but I truly don't. I am never hungry, and I get full wayyy fast when I actually eat solids. lol. It is hard at first to get in all the liquids and Protein. Ask away girl,we're here to help! I don't regret my surgery at all,I would do it again in a second actually! It is truly the best thing that has happened to me aside from my children of course. =) Oh and yes I am used to my sleeve already, and not bein able to eat much. I love it so much.
  14. Congrats!!!! Can't wait to welcome you to the losers bench! Keep us updated!
  15. I agree,it does have a good flavor but it a lil on the sweet side. Now,if I could just find some more flavors in light. =)
  16. Good luck! I bugged my insurance like crazy and got an approval in less than a week. =)
  17. How exciting!!! Congrats and good luck to you!
  18. Congrats! I am 5 weeks out and have lost 26 pounds! Would have more but got stuck in a lil stall. Don't let the stalls get to you, they will pass! =)
  19. I only drink the muscle milk light. It has 0 grams of sugar,20 grams protein,160 calories. I use Unjury, have tried a few store generic brands and hate them. I heard that Premier from Costco is good too. I am gonna try it soon.
  20. Will your insurance cover or will you cash pay? Lucky dog you!
  21. What an awesome feeling it must be! Cannot wait to welcome you to the loser's bench!!! Congrats!
  22. Wow,that is awesome. I am 5 weeks out and have lost 26 pounds, you're doin great!
  23. Hey it's worth a try! I am totally gonna check out the body brushing thing. Can't hurt and I don't think my insurance is gonna pay for any plastics. I know my belly will be bad,but I don't think it will be bad enough for insurance to cover it so I would have to cash pay. :/
  24. I do not have that type of insurance but I would def call them about it. I stalked my isurance company lol and got an approval in less than 7 days. I would just call and ask if anyone had reviewed my paperwork yet.
