Worst: nausea from anasthesia, unexplained nausea in subsequent weeks, not being able to binge (hey, food was the live of my life!), sometimes feeling like I'm missing out as others are eating a meal,

Worst : Taking all the Vitamins and the weight stopped "falling off" easily after only two months. Best: Months of happiness, hopes and dreams.

  • Hardest thing......trying to work with insurance and waiting for the surgery date to arrive. Best thing....my new life

Hardest thing so far is that I actually gained a pound this week, but that was my own doing. Best thing, hearing everyone say how great I look, or that they didn't recognize me.

Best thing about VSG--losing 94 lbs and wearing size 6

Worst thing about VSG--having to buy all new size 6 clothes! I've spent a lot, even though I try to shop at thrift stores.

Worst- having bad post op complications and having to be hospitalized 3x.

Best- losing almost 30lbs in 24 days.

Bedhead, would you still do it all over again, even after your complications?

I can't wait for this!!!! You will never go back, so money well spent!

Worst/hardest: Still have to work pretty hard, and waiting for the results.

Best: I have HOPE that I haven't had in decades. And, I already feel so much better! I spent a lot of years waiting to be thin to start living, and it wasn't happening.

worst- nausea from the anesthesia

best- knowing that this surgery saved my life, I know that all those obesity complication like diabetes and high blood pressure are not right around the corner anymore. I am becoming a healthier person by the minute! :D

Worst- worrying about reaching my goal soon (I had no regrets or complications after surgery)

Best - feeling better than ever, having my jeans fall off until i buy new ones!

Worst: the inexplicably and unsupported fear of gaining it all back

Best: no pain and the belief that I'm capable of anything I set my mind to

Worst: nausea from anasthesia, unexplained nausea in subsequent weeks, not being able to binge (hey, food was the live of my life!), sometimes feeling like I'm missing out as others are eating a meal, the too-full sick feeling I get from eating just a little bit too much

Best: the quick weight loss, esp at the beginning; not being able to binge (yup, it goes in both categories); shopping in my closet; feeling like I control food instead of vice versa.

I don't really think that I can answer this with any deep certainty right now because I'm not even a full month away from surgery yet. Right now I hate what I've done to myself and my family... But I'm trying to trust the process and have faith that by 3 months postop I will be thrilled with my decision.

Worst/Hardest: The irrational fears of failing. I know that I would NEVER fail with this tool coz I'm pretty much an obedient patient and follow EVERYTHING my doc says. But at times I have this fear that I may not lose as much as I and my doc expect.

Best: I have asthma but for the past two months I haven't once used my asthalin inhaler!! I'm able to walk and climb stairs without needing my inhaler! :)

Hardest thing......trying to work with insurance and waiting for the surgery date to arrive.

Best thing....my new life
