  1. thanks heaps for your comments. UK Cathy, you won't regret hitting the send button. Do everything that you are told after surgery and all will be great. The most important part is the couple of weeks following surgery when you are on soft food only. This is important so your stomach can heal. I would do it all over again if I had to. The great part is that you lose weight so easily with little effort and feel great. Any questions just ask. I have added you as a friend Judy
  2. I decided to have the Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy Surgery last October after struggling with my weight all my life. I had my surgery on December 9th 2011. Best decision I have ever made. The surgery went well with no problems. I was allowed home after two days. Had no pain or discomfort. My weight loss has been pretty consistant since my operation. I have lost 30kg as of today. I would never have lost this much weight in such a short time without this surgery. I started at the gym last week to help tone and keep the weight coming off. I still have trouble drinking all the water you are suppose to in a day and still finding out what I can and can't eat, apart from that, all is great. I am still getting use the fact that I am not hungry and want to eat all the time like I use too.
