  1. Kelly - I'm sorry your are still having problems. I hope the pneumonia clears up fast for you. It is a good question you asked, and I am looking forward to hearing more of the older banster post their opinions on this.
  2. My doctor schedules me every 6 weeks. So far I have needed to use them for fills every time. Your doctor will decide when you see him if a fill is need or not. Usually if you aren't losing 1-2 pounds a week, you are ready for a fill.
  3. They served me coffee in the hospital, and I drink it every day! I even asked the doctor about it after hearing rumors and he said no problem, drink it!
  4. Good Luck, and keep us posted!
  5. Good Luck everyone! I can't believe all the people being banded in April!
  6. Way to go Becky! It sounds like you are definately doing things right. A new Grand Child will definately wake you up! lol Good Luck!
  7. Welcome to bandland! I am glad to hear everything went well for you! It's only going to better better with each day!

  10. Thinking about you Kathy! I hope you get some good news today! Sending hugs and prayers your way!
  11. Down 1 pound, I am happy with that as I haven't lost anything for quite a while!
  12. Kris - It is normal to feel all you are feeling. You will be fine, and it will be over before you know it. Good luck, and please post when you are able and let us know how your surgery went.
  13. Glad to hear you are on the mend and doing better. Things will get better every day. I'm sorry you had such a hard time.
  14. Brissie - Try to relax, you will be fine. Your Doctor will send you home with some pain meds, but I didn't even use mine except one time when I first got home and actually probably really didn't have to have them then. Good Luck with your surgery, and be sure to come and post when you are able and let us know how you are doing. Try to keep busy, try to go back and read some of the older posts about the surgery and that might help you relax too.
  15. Trish - everything you are going through is normal! If you didn't have those feelings, then I would be worried about you! :laugh Your surgery will be here before you know it. I think it is much harder when you have to wait so long for it to get here. Before you know it you will be in lapband, giving someone else advice! :laugh :laugh
  16. Kathy - I'm glad you are getting it checked out, sorry you are having so many problems. Waiting to hear from you! Good Luck!
  17. Welcome! It sounds like you are doing great!
  18. Good luck everyone, and don't forget to post and let us know how you are doing!

  20. Good Luck Deb! Sending thoughts and prayers your way. We'll be watching for an update when you are able!
  21. Welcome Rae! Lots of information and support here for the taking!
  22. Kathy I am glad to hear you are doing a little better, and yes, I think you are probably just swollen. I think that is still good that you are going to check with the Doctor's office so they are aware you might have some problems over the weekend. It never hurts to prepare! Good Luck and keep us posted!
  23. Kathy, please, please don't let this go on for too long or you will be taking a risk with your band. You really should be able to drink Water. You should call your doctor and talk to him at least before the long weekend when you might not be able to get any help at all. I am really concerned about you! Hugs!
  24. Amazing, just amazing! You look Fantastic!
  25. Happy to hear you are doing better! Take your time and heal up good!
