  2. What do you eat? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How long have you been banded? 6 months What do you eat each day? Pretty much anything, I don't do bread, Pasta, or rice by choice How much do you eat? I don't measure - I eat till I am satisfied Do you eat sweets? Not often, once in a while How much have you lost? 56 pounds Do you feel its worth it?Definately, and I would do it again! I love my band! __________________
  3. Unreal! You couldn't catch me letting those people give me any kind of fill! How do they even stay in business? Thanks for the udate Jenna!
  4. I agree with Alex, and if RYN was the only surgery available, I would not have had the surgery. I just wouldn't want to mess with my insides and change them around. Everyone has to make up their own mind, so I am not trying to make that decision for you, I am just saying lapband was the only surgery I was willing to take a chance on. Good luck with your journey and let us know what you decide to do.
  5. Welcome to bandland! It really does get easier each day! A heating pad helps some with the gas pains, also walking worked better than anything else for me!
  6. And....How much time have you got to go get the mattress and put it in there? You must not live too far from me, I am just down the street in Grand Prairie off FM1382. When they showed the funnel going towards Cedar Hill, now that scared me! Glad to hear your wife was able to get in some cover! Now.........What happeded with my Mavericks?
  7. Trish - Try to quit thinking about it so much! I wish I lived closer, I'd come and keep you too busy to think about it! You will be just fine, (that is if you don't break your back with all that luggage) and will be on here telling us how great you are doing.
  8. I never heard that one! I know several that fly and haven't ever beeped!
  9. I'm glad you are feeling better! Take it easy and slow now and heal up good. You'll be in tip top shape before you know it!
  10. Wow, what can't you do? No wonder you are being considered for the job! Your work must be so interesting and never a dull moment! Please do keep us updated, it will be very interesting to see what job they offer you to do. Good luck with your band, something tells me you will succeed at that without much help!
  11. What a wonderful story! I hope you do post pictures! Thanks for sharing with us Teresa!
  12. No problems here staying on! It might be on your end.
  13. Good luck and have a safe trip! We'll see you in bandland!
  14. Congradulations to you! It feels so good to be able to drop that size! Sometimes we forget that even when the scales don't show a big drop, that we are also losing inches. Now, enjoy cleaning out all those too big clothes from your closet!
  15. I'll definately be wearing my RED on Friday! I can't express enough how much I appreciate all the men and women that are fighting for our freedom. Thank you Greg for bringing this to our attention. You can be asured that I will send it to as many people that I can. I might add here a "special" thanks for your part in fighting for our freedom. I appreciate ya!

  22. It is really bad right here where I live now, a tornado hit 8 miles from us! They are popping up all around us, some is just really bad storms with hail. Please send prayers for those being hit. I have no idea how much damage has been caused. Our sirens went off in our neighborhood, it has been pretty scary.
