Yup, I know exactly where that is too! Actually we watched them build that subdivision, we ride that way all the time. We have a boat out at Joe Pool lake at the Marina. Do you ever go out there? Gosh, we live so close to each other! How cool! Definately have to plan to meet sometime soon!

You must live right near me, we live right off 1382 too! I can't believe we are neighbors! Now we will have to meet! We live just north of 20 a bit, right across from the soccer fields, so where on 1382 do you live???? This is getting really interesting!

No, I wasn't one of people that was with that group. I did buy my bike at the Dallas Harley though, and we go over there a lot. I take my bike over for service and we go to some of the events they have over there. We go to American Eagle a lot too, and we are members of the Longhorn Chapter. My DH bought his bike at the North Texas Harley, so we frequent that one too. We have been up to the Ft. Worth Harley some too, and visit a lot that are around the metro-plex. Heck, now that I am typing this I guess we visit a lot of the Harley places. If you pm me a way to contact you, the next time we are over there I will give you a call or something. I would love to meet you. I think that is so neat that your Mom is being banded with you! Please keep us updated on your progress!

Yes, I did see you and your dog! I sure wish I had know who you were, I definately would have introduced myself. I was in the Ladies division, and I had the red Heritage Softail with all the black fringe on it, I don't know if you saw it or not. It was a cool party they put on, and your band was great! I thought y'all did an elcellent job on "The house of the rising sun". If I ever see you playing anywhere again, I will definately come up and say hello. I was sitting right behind the trikes too! I had on a black Harley shirt with pink flowers/rhinestones going down the sleeves, I have long dark hair. Those Harley's grow on you don't they?

Yes, I was there, and I was sitting over on the wall singing along with you! Hey, you guys are good! I really enjoyed listening to y'all play! Now, tell me which one you were! That sure was a big crowd there and so many bikes! Gosh, I wish I had known you were playing there, I would have come up and introduced myself and got to meet you!

My DH and I went to a Harley Anniversay party yesterday. It was so cool, there was about 1500-2000 motorcycles there. They had a show going for the best bikes, and it didn't cost anything so we entered ours. I won 2nd place! The one that one first place had a really neat old classic that was in mint condition. I got $100.00 gift certificate!

I would take the gall bladder! Hopefully that is what it is and you will be back to normal. Gall bladder is famous for going bad after the surgery! Good luck, and keep us posted!

I didn't need any help when I came home, in fact it felt good to move and get things for myself. Like Crystal said, make sure to have all your stuff bought so you don't need to go get things. You will be fine!

My doctor told me a lot of his patients have lost 100% of their weight, but it takes work to do it. If a person is willing to work at it and do their share, then they could lose it all.

Please get in as soon as you can! Sometimes those start and stop things can be a warning. Most likely it isn't much, but it is always better to be safe than sorry! Please let us know what the doctor says. My thoughts and prayers are with you! Hugs!

Paula - Each person is different, but if I was only 30 pounds overweight, I would not have the surgery. This is not a quick fix, it is really hard to stay in the guidelines of the band. Have you tired to stay on an exercise program? You still have to exercise with the band. Have you tried watching what you eat? You still have to do that with the band. Some people have to give up foods that they really enjoy to have the band, are you willing to do that? Like I said, surgery is not an easy way out, so you will need to research all the information about the band and decide if it is right for you. I would try everything I could to lose the weight by myself before considering surgery. Good Luck!
